We had a lovely stay in Bird Nest! The view from the room was absolutely stunning, just like in the pictures. The room itself was comfortable and matched the listing, with working AC and hot water in the shower. Tenna and his wife were incredibly kind; they even welcomed us with tea when we arrived and again before we left. Tenna also helped us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. We did notice a few insects in the room, but it’s something that could be easily managed with insecticides. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Bird Nest to travelers looking for a peaceful stay with warm hospitality in Kandy.

“Spending Christmas in your House as a family has been an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we cherished moments of peace, yoga, and reflection. The meals prepared by Jeyanthi and Chaturangi were absolutely wonderful – every dish was a delight. The rice field hike with Sudharma was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and memories we will always treasure. Everything about our stay was simply perfect, and we are deeply grateful for this incredible experience. “

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Some places you stay at, others stay with you - this was definitely the latter. We came to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and somehow everything just clicked - the people, the setting, the timing. Shirani, our host, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her help made the day feel so personal and special. The home is stunning, peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of character. Even the most beautiful photos can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. Chef Kavin’s food was unforgettable. Absolutely soul-satisfying. We pushed our checkout just to have one more meal. Kapila, our butler, quietly ensured everything ran smoothly. Milan, the manager was kind, responsive and was always ready to help. Chandra and the gardener kept everything spotless, quietly working in the background. This trip became one of those rare, treasured memories. Our hearts are full and this place will forever be a part of our daughter’s first chapter.

A 😊😊very happy experience ~ It is a very warm family, and they greeted us very warmly when we arrived home.We couldn't order takeout online, and the host's son helped us. The host's son is a very, very cute and warm shy boy.The host sent us to the airport, we talked a lot on the way, next time if I come to Kandy, I will definitely stay here.In addition, I look forward to your family visiting China🤟🤟

A beautiful house with a spectacular view. Upul is an artist who has spent many years of his life in Denmark. His house shows his mix of Sri Lankan and Europe: large windows and open breezy spaces mixed with traditional building. We felt so comfortable and relaxed in such an interesting and well-designed space. We drank our morning coffee watching the sun come up over the hills. A wonderful memory. Thank you, Upul, for such a nice memory of Kandy.
