Holiday houses in Gardunha

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

A marvel!!! The environment is impressive, if you come with the idea of breathing fresh air and listening only to the birds singing, waking up with that coffee in hand, looking up and marveling at the landscape before your eyes... Very pleasant stay and the home is just spectacular! Everything that we needed was there.

We loved our stay at Susan’s place! The apartment was exactly what we expected, with beautiful stunning views and surrounded by nature! The common areas were a nice surprise and each space felt carefully designed and taken care of. The pool was definitely a highlight, as we were able to enjoy it on some really hot days. Susan was super easy to communicate with, and made us feel welcomed and taken care of. We would definitely like to stay there again, and we wholeheartedly recommend it!

A Lord of the Rings lover’s dream! We had a wonderful stay. The property is so peaceful and is nestled close to the mountains. The hosts were very kind!

I spent two nights at Casa Canela with my girlfriend. We made this choice because we wanted to “escape” the chaos of the city and look for a place to rest! You've exceeded our expectations! Super quiet place, with all the amenities! Super well-equipped kitchen, impeccable bathroom and phenomenal bedroom! The cleaning, tidying and care was excellent! The pool is super well maintained, as is the entire surrounding space! Even with Steve living upstairs, privacy was total! Steve is fantastic and super available! The house has all the conditions and amenities for those who want to spend a week or two! Without a doubt, the best place I've ever stayed! I hope to be able to return someday!
