We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Uma casa lindíssima do século xv situada no poente de Monsanto com vistas espetaculares.Muito sossego e calma. Design arriscado com penedos enormes à vista, decorada com objectos antigos de Monsanto. Tentaremos manter uma ligação com os hóspedes em termos de máxima hospitalidade mas com respeito pela privacidade. É servido um pequeno almoço frugal incluído no preço.

Stairway to Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).
