Our solar powered glamping cabin has glorious views across Loch Long to Loch Goil with no street lights to interrupt the stunning night skies. Enjoy access to the lochs for a swim, kayak or SUP. Numerous locations are nearby for a hike or bike ride then you can return to this perfect refuge for couples or small families, can sleep five but not suitable for five adults. Yoga/meditation, floristry and art workshops are also available. Don't miss Sheila our resident deer and our rescue hens!

Historic Lochside Woodside Tower

Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Comfortable one bed flat overlooking Loch Long

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We are in a fantastic location on the shore of Loch Long and provides you with a base from which to explore. You can walk, run, cycle or hike the Rosneath peninsula. You can kayak, paddle board or even swim in Loch Long. We are a 20 minute drive from Helensburgh where there is a bustling sea front with plenty of choices to eat and shop. Another 10 minute drive gets you to Loch Lomond where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards or go for a cruise.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Spacious 3-bed apartment on the top floor of former tenement building with gorgeous views over the Carrick Castle and Loch Goil. Perfect for a romantic getaway or an outdoorsy holiday with friends! The area is a paradise for anyone who loves peace, wildlife or the outdoors. Tucked away in a relatively undiscovered corner of Argyll, the location is remote yet easily accessible from Glasgow. I spend much of the year here myself but love to rent it to others to enjoy whilst I'm away.
