New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Authentic and old log cabin that provides rest and tranquility in the soul. Here you get a unique, Norwegian cabin experience with lit candles, fire in the fireplace and nature close by. Two living rooms with fireplace, bedroom, bathroom (no shower and no water), spacious loft and kitchen with long table. The cabin is an original prayer house with a large ceiling height in the main living room, and a recently furnished loft with many mattresses for beds with a window down to the living room and out towards Lomseggen. Welcome to Eldhuset!

Eldhuset er ei lita, triveleg stue på garden Enersvold i Garmo. Garmo ligg midt mellom Lom og Vågå (13 km. til Lom sentrum og 16 km. til Vågåmo), og staden er eit godt utgangspunkt for ein aktiv ferie med Jotunheimen som næraste nabo. Eldhuset inneheld stue med peis, kjøkenkrok, to soverom (eit rom med familiekøye, det andre med 120 cm. bred seng) og bad. I tillegg kan det leggast madrasser på ein liten hems. Huset er tilknytta garden, så det er hundar, hestar og kyr som ein kan treffe på der.

Here you can go straight out into miles of cross-country trails, go alpine skiing, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain trips in Jotunheimen. Walking distance to Lemonsjøen mountain lodge and café bar Kalven seter. There is room for 2 families. Rented to adult responsible people. No smoking and no pets allowed. By further agreement, the canoe can be lent to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for mountain fishing.

Systugun Garmo Søre Stuggu

Come for a unique stay in an old, historic farmhouse! This quaint old farm dates back to at least 1021, when viking King Olaf Haraldsson (St Olaf) came here and ordered a stave church to be built. The old church yard is still here. The farm buildings are mainly from the period 1650-1850, and several are protected. There are cows, sheep, horses and cats on the farm. Systugun Garmo may look like a museum, but is also a working farm. We also rent out prestens omkledningsrom.
