Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Gavray-sur-Sienne

For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. If you dreamed of staying in a French farmhouse in the countryside while having all the modern conveniences look no further. There are not enough pictures to do the property justice complete with a lake, ducks, pastures, cows, local old church while being close to all the historic sites you go to Normandy to see. The host is superb. Met us at the door of the property even though she had worked all day as a nationally certified D Day guide. Everything in the house was new, clean, comfortable, and easy to use. The interior is amazing with wooden beams and tastefully decorated keeping with the French country aesthetic. Our stay was great and kept getting better every day as we noticed more and more amazing nuances that really enriched our visit. We could not have imagined a better visit, a better location, or a better host.

Christiane’s place was absolutely beautiful. The view of Mont Saint Michel was stunning. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we were looking for. She even had bikes that we were able to use! She is very responsive and was so gracious to accommodate our request for a late check out. I highly recommend Christiane’s house and I can’t wait to stay again next time we visit.

David’s place was the perfect quiet rural setting we wanted. Perfectly located to explore both Normandy and Brittany. Very comfortable house, especially the showers, and a great private parking space as well. David welcomed us in and then just let us be, which we very much enjoyed – unfussy and easy going.

This is an amazing place to stay. Perfect for two, right beside the sea. We couldn’t have been happier.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the garden and the very well decorated house. We were received by Corinne who informed us very well about the activities and visits to do in the region. We stayed in this home for three nights. And we're three of us. Wanted two bedrooms with two bathrooms, and a place which is close by to Mont st Michel, Dinan and St malo. so the search narrowed down to Margots's place. The photographs look stunning. The hot tub, hammam, the white furniture, super comfy beds stood out. And belive me, it's exactly as portrayed. Unfortunately it was really hot, so we really couldn't enjoy the tub steam sauna for which we should do a trip in winters. Margot was very helpful. From checkin to checkout. She was there. Inspite of our language barrier, the communication was precise. We travel the world, specially driving trips and always stay in Airbnbs. This is in our top league. We will remember forever. We so wish we had stayed longer but there is so much around, that we would get out in morning and come late to sleep. Which helped as the bed comfort and linen is 10/10. Kudos Margot!

We had a great week at the property. The accommodation is at the foot of the dunes, in a few steps we are on the beach. The accommodation is also a few meters from the center, with a bakery, grocery store, and a few restaurants. The place is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing!!

Great apartment in a cute town. Very private. Perfect jumping off point to visit Mont St. Michel. Solene's leaflet has a lot of good information - nice touch! Definitely recommend!

We went as a family of four adults. Jocelyne’s place was as described and much more. She is responsive and clear with communication.The 180 degree views were the highlight of our stay. The whole flat is immaculate. It had everything to give you a relaxing home away from home. We explored the walks and beach nearby and we got great recommendations for food in Granville. Le mont St michel is about 40min drive and worth going to. I would highly recommend a stay.

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Gouville. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely sun-drenched balcony. We watched the sunset both nights, either on the balcony or down at the beach. Easy drive to Mont St Michel as well. We were sad to leave!! NB towels and toiletries not provided - not a problem, but worth nothing for those travelling from overseas.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was flawlessly cleaned and really comfortable. The bathroom shower is particularly great and we enjoyed the view of town from the balcony and the farms out the back window. The place made for a great home base while we explored some of the surrounding area in Normandy. Would recommend!

This is the second time we have booked this accommodation and we will definitely come back! An incredible little studio that gives the feeling of being suspended above the sea. An irreproachable calm, 12 minutes walk from the center of Granville with charming shops. The accommodation is extremely clean and well equipped for a comfortable and rejuvenating stay for two. We spent 3 days with our two children in Chantal's accommodation and everything was there: A warm welcome, an environment worthy of the most beautiful postcards and what to say about the accommodation: straight out of a magazine, we felt at home and the jacuzzi delighted both the young and old. Bedding to relieve any back pain and a real haven of peace surrounding. Very pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with nice decor. Everything is connected, even the dishes. Nice and clean apartment. The French door with a sliding door to access the terrace without overlooking the wind shelter is a plus. Heloise is a very nice host and available to answer questions.

Isabelle was the perfect hostess, we received a warm welcome & the accomodation was excellent. We had a great couple of days exploring, and easy cycling distance to Mont Saint-Michel and drive to Sant Malo. & Isabelle couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and advice. Great stay with Zabeth and Pascal. A warm personal welcome, with an explanation of the excellent equipment and the surroundings. Refrigerator filled with soft drinks, yogurt, butter, jam, etc. Furthermore, sufficient coffee is available, including for the Dolce Gusto. Apartment is very tasteful and trendy. The apartment is located on a dead-end street, close to the city center. As a result, it is very quiet in the street and there is no noise nuisance. These superhosts with their beautiful 2 private apartments, are definitely recommended. Thanks for the super nice stay. R&R

The stay at Laurence's went very well. The apartment is well located in relation to Saint Malo intra muros, quiet. Parking for the car is very convenient. Only slight inconvenience to the terrace with a lot of opposite but overall we are very satisfied!

Very nice apartment with a superb view of the sea and Granville. This is our 2nd stay and we will come back! The apartment is very functional and clean. And the very practical box. We came to find rest and comfort and it was perfect.

We had the best time at Roberts and Yves place. They answered any questions very promptly and were extremely helpful at check in giving us all the information we needed for our stay. We have never stayed in such a well equipped and well thought out Airbnb and we have stayed in a great number over the years! The apartment is a very short walk away from the local beach and local shops were also within easy reach. You won't go wrong if you hire this apartment!

The apartement and the connecting garden are lovely. We enjoyed the stay very much. I also preferred this part of the city where the apartement is located compared to the city centre; it is greener, more peaceful and generally more colorful I think. It is really worth exploring. The view and the whole atmosphere were just really what we were looking for. I haven't evaluated it as a downside, the apartment is really great, but if you are frustrated by squeaky floorboards, then this is the only issue that you might find with this apartment. But this is a lovely old house, so these things happen :) The host was also really communicative and helpful. Thank you!
