Myrtos Cosy Apartment II

OlgaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful time at this place! The view is amazing, the sea is right there, the decor is pleasant, everything was new and clean. There were three of us so one of us was using the sofa as a bed—it folds out into a really nice full size bed, which was great. The apartment does get hot in the afternoons, being right under the roof, so we found that sometimes we had to use AC, which we normally avoid. But, to compensate, you get a lovely balcony to sit and look at the sea.

Nephèle - The Goddess of Hospitality

NorbertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We came to Styliano's peaceful mountain village to hike in the Dikti mountains. His Airbnb is one of the best, a delightful space with big views and fine touches like Danish down pillows and crystal wine glasses. Beautiful renovation work with high quality materials in the Cretan style. The local taverna "Agia Pereskevi" is one of the best restaurants in South Crete; plus Stylianos offered us a basket of tasty local products. The fine beachside restaurants of Ierapetra are a 45 minute drive. We had a flat tire while arriving and Styliano's father came immediately to help us out. I can't recommend a stay at this Airbnb more highly. Stylianos is an outstanding host.

We really enjoyed staying at the Epicurean. It is very close in the car to Agios Nikolaos and has a small wonderful beach 5 minutes away.

Comfortable Family House nearby Mirtos

JuliaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We stayed at Roen's house for two weeks with our two children (4 and 7) and had a great time. The highlight for the children were the cats (very sweet, but also try to get into the house) and the pool, where we also liked to cool off. Especially the outdoor area is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest and you have a great view to the sea. The house is situated in the mountains surrounded by fruit and olive trees. Pure nature! Roen was always helpful and gave tips. The beach of Mirtos can be reached in 15 minutes and there are many small shops and tavernas. The only thing that was not clear to us from the description was that the bathroom is not in the house, but in a separate house on the terrace, which was not quite so great with small children, especially at night. Overall we had a wonderful time and really highly recommend staying at this great house.

Traditional Windmill-Milos

AndreasRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had an indescribably beautiful time in the windmill. The view and the garden are stunning. Everything is prepared with so much attention to detail. We lacked nothing. In the village you can eat very well. You're just comfortable. We are happy that we were allowed to be there. If you're looking for something special, highly recommend this place.

KC's hideaway

Mikael SundinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I really loved my 10 days in this special place. It is built in and around the ruins of an older house and feels very inspiring, a little wild, but also very calm and harmonious. Perfectly secluded, and good for both work and deep relaxation. Both indoor and outdoor kitchen and a big flat roof, great for watching sun, clouds, stars and moon. I liked everything here, the old furniture, gas stoves, kitchenware. Lush garden with lemon trees and herbs. It's so lovely up in these mountains. It takes an hour to walk to Mirtos, and 30 min to a very nice taverna in Mournies. Gdochia itself has no restaurants or shops, so most will probably want a car. I was fine walking. I only met Kristine for about two hours when I moved in and I found her very friendly, easy to talk to, direct and genuine. She really knows the area and is happy to answer any question you might have. I think her spirit is well reflected in the house itself. Hope to come back soon!

Quiet & Cozy, Aura House

KamalRating, 5 starstoday
Lovely little villa with a view of the mountains and the sea. Villa was provided with all the amenities including shampoo and much much more. Manolis provided with a cute basket full of yummy local treats and even a few bottles of wine. Villa is only 20 mins brisk walk to town and close to the highways taking you to the other parts of the island. The Villa felt like a 5 star hotel. Thank you for everything Manolis!

Aetheria Luxury Suite | Temma Villas

KevinRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The villa is amazing, great views, very quiet (alongside a road but very little traffic) and the place was spotless. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. We were there for two weeks and linen/towels were changed mid holiday. Pool towels also provided. An amazing outdoor area, with table, well equipped outdoor kitchen, plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Quite honestly couldn't have asked for more. If we ever go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again ......... and a special thanks to Sophie who met us with the keys on arrival and was there on our departure.
