Amazing and peaceful stay. Travelled with family. Caretaker John is very helpful and owner Tejas is very friendly and prompt. The property is a huge farm and secluded from any hustle bustle, situated next to their coffee estate. Loved it. would visit again.

Nestled in a scenic estate, the cottages are a labour of love (a Trupti and Samrat production). Cottages are well designed, elegant with a lovely sit out, where one can sit for hours in the company of bird-songs. A great stay stands on three pillars - comfort, hosts and the food. Trupti planned the meals, taking special care to make it diabetes friendly - meals wich were well executed by Ratna-akka and team. Hirvate Estate's food was creative and superlative. Trupti made our stay special - with a walking tour of the estate, an insight into its rich history, and fascinating anecdotes. If you are lucky, you will get to spend time with Trupti and Samrat - and be regaled with stories spanning across timelines and continents. Stories of friendships, love and unlikely heroes. If you are looking for a weekend away place from Bangalore or even a long stay away from the madness of cities or a base to visit the marvellous historic sites in Belur and surroundings - Hirvate Estate is the place

The place is absolutely beautiful and serene, nestled amidst coffee plantations and overlooking a peaceful lake—pictures truly don’t do it justice. The food was delicious; we had both breakfast and dinner here, and every meal felt homely and sumptuous. They also served amazing snacks in the evening, which added a lovely touch. The caretakers were meticulous and always available, ensuring everything was clean and all essentials were in place. Rakshanda was also incredibly helpful, suggesting places to visit and restaurants to try out. Overall, a wonderfully peaceful and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were yearning for a peaceful weekend getaway from the hustle bustle of Bangalore city life, and Chandan's cottage offered what we dreamed of. Nestled deep in the lush forest, this hideaway offered a rare and magical connection with nature. The large glass windows framed breathtaking views of trees swaying gracefully in the wind and shimmering under the gentle rain, creating a living painting. The balcony is a tranquil spot where you can soak in the soothing sights and sounds of the surrounding forest. Throughout our stay, the symphony of the forest- birds chirping, insects stridulating- kept us delightfully guessing about the mysterious creatures around us. Every corner of the place reflects the care and love poured into its creation. Thank you Chandan and team, for sharing your beautiful slice of paradise with us!

Amazing property, peaceful surrounding, clean linens, and great food. Geetanjali was very helpful and accommodate to our needs during the stay. Happy and Doodle are the sweetest furry friends, they made our trip extra special.

This place is a hidden gem. Situated right in the coffee estate forest with mountains in the backdrop, this place is best suited if you really want to disconnect and spend good 2D/N in the nature. I loved the 4 kms off road drive to the homestay. Anyone who has decent experience of driving can take their car without any issue or damage. I had a long sedan and it took mininal efforts to take it up and down. The place is extremely serene, has just 3 cabins, which offers great privacy to your stay. You get your own private bonfire as well in the night. Caretaker and cook aunty is awesome. The highlight is the home cooked food which was finger licking. I would suggest to have all three meals there. While there was no mobile network, the place had high speed internet and wifi which would stream any OTT easily. We were fortunate to get the rains as well. We would definitely pay a visit to this place once again.

We had a very nice stay with our fur babies. With the mountains in the backdrop, The sunset view from the property is something out of this world. Would love to come back again.

The homestay was in a beautiful coffee estate. The surroundings were very well maintained. Enough parking for many cars and bikes inside the property. Rooms and washrooms were squeaky clean. The living room is big and well furnished for 10 people to sit together and have fun. Prarthana was proactive and very nice in her hosting. She gave all required information. The food was super tasty. I loved the malnad style chicken curry the most. Morning breakfast was also great, especially the green chutney. We visited the Devarmane and Ethinabhuja during the day. Mudugere town is just 20 mins from the homestay. I would highly recommend the homestay to anyone who wants to stay in and around Mudugere.
