My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Cabin in the Shenandoah Mountain surrounded by National Forest on 3 sides. Inside cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and local landscape art throughout. Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Had a wonderful week long stay. In a long drive that is fairly private and secluded. Wake up to sounds of nature on the front porch. Tina sent an amazing list of details before our stay that gave us directions for our stay. Water had a slight odor, but got used to it in a few days. They also provided plenty of clean drinking water. Popcorn on the counter was a great touch for a late night snack!

This place was awesome the views are incredible and the privacy was like nowhere else. As long as you have 4wd and don’t mind some steps this is a perfect place for couples. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Kevin was even proactive in letting us know the power had went out before we got there and then immediately let us know it was back on. This place really is a hidden gem and you are within 15-30 minutes of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Nathan's place is the perfect, peaceful, secluded camping spot in the mountains! The place is exactly as described in the listing and the host is communicative and super friendly. Apa the dog comes around too and is such a sweetheart. Easy instructions, good wifi connection, and bathroom is a very short walk with motion lights to make it easy at night. Would definitely love to return for a weekend again!

We had a wonderful weekend in this sweet cabin! From before check in, until check out Flora made the whole experience easy and comfortable. There are so many thoughtful details throughout this property. Super clean and beautiful inside, but we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible deck. Our favorite part was that we could still sit outside in comfy seats and watch a thunderstorm while covered! Close to lots, but far from it all. We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful! The screened in porch overlooking the flowing mountain stream IS as wonderful as the photos make you imagine it to be! Pair that with the comfortable beds, the beautiful kitchen (with everything you need to make a meal), and the quiet cabin setting and you too can have a relaxing vacation like we did! Our hosts offered great suggestions for hikes and shopping when asked but they also were just very helpful throughout our entire stay. We left relaxed and recharged! Would definitely stay again!!
