Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. Our Lake house is located on Lake Chatuge in a quite secluded neighborhood in the beautiful North Georgia mountain town of Hiawassee. We are on the lake with an accessible deep water dock. This house offers lots of cozy indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating, including covered seating areas off of each king room, a large open deck, a lower deck, fire pit, and covered patio next to water. Fish, Hunt, Grill, or Chill with direct access to the big lake in just 8 minutes by boat.. Lake Seminole contains 37,500 acres of water, and a shoreline of 376 miles. Bass-Masters annual event attracts anglers from all 50 states. The fish include largemouth bass, crappie, chain pickerel, catfish, striped bass and others. Home is nicely decorated with a lake theme. Awesome Sunsets and views of the lake from the screened-in porch, backyard, 80ft dock, and boat house.
