Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gianyar Regency

Lovely place to stay. I will be back! Good location and quiet mostly though this would depend on who you get for neighbors…otherwise, lovely staff, lovely breakfast, lovely location, you can walk everywhere on foot around the back alleys of Penestanan. The grounds are super green and private.

Brilliant 4 days in ubud. It’s about a 20 minute drive from Ubud centre, you can take a Gojek which is less that £4 or hire Wayan who is abit more expensive but has a lot of knowledge and will wait outside for you. The view from the beds / pool is unbelievable and the need is really comfy. Fantastic communication from the host. The cleaner is also really nice. There’s a few nice cafes / restaurants that are more local than the centre. 5/5!

Wir wurden herzlich von Made abgeholt – der Transfer lief reibungslos und war preislich absolut fair. In der Villa wurden wir direkt von den wunderbaren Mädels begrüßt, die sich mit viel Hingabe um alles gekümmert haben: Frühstück zubereitet, Küche aufgeräumt (sogar nach unserem eigenen Kochen!) und die Zimmer liebevoll hergerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns aber die Lage der Villa: tropisch, ruhig, mit direktem Blick in den Dschungel – einfach paradiesisch! Der Garten, das offene Wohnzimmer, das ganze Ambiente – wir haben uns in den zwei Nächten richtig wohl und angekommen gefühlt. Auch die Nähe zu Ubud, den Reisfeldern und dem Affenwald war perfekt für kleine Ausflüge. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, den wir sehr genossen haben. ADKRIWAJ!

Gede has been amazing. He’s not only was our host, but offered free laundry service, took us around and gave us rides, and negotiated excursion prices for us. He even introduced us to his family and invited us to participate in their religious ceremony. He also went out of his way to accept a transfer for me so i can pay for my tattoo. He literally went to 3 different banks to make sure I had enough. He’s not only a host, but a solid person and a friend. You should book with him.

The property is awesome. Very spacious and beautiful, with a view of rice fields all around. For people who want a peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it! Dont look any further. Mr. Ngakan was super-helpful - got us whatever we needed, including local transport, helped us plan for sightseeing. His wife made us a delicious dinner spread. The breakfast that was included in the package was awesome as well. Probably one of my best airbnb experiences. 10 on 10.

Beautiful stay in the heart of Ubud. The hosts were very accomodating, including scooter hire, breakfast, recommendations. Nice villa and a beautiful pool too. The place feels quite private despite being right next to the action of ubud out the front of the property

I stayed in Puck villa for 6 night and everything has been amazing! Staff is friendly and welcoming, the villa is really huge, airy, very clean and with all the services that you need. The place is so quiet and peaceful, it was a pleasure enjoy the pool or stay relaxed in the balcony. All around is full of amazing Cafe and restaurants, in a beautiful walkable area that is not so common in Ubud.

We had a very pleasant stay at this house. The garden is beautiful and the environment peacefull. We highly recommend!

Made is a super friendly host who we saw every morning on our way out. He always checked on how everything was going. Made was always responsive to any questions we had or any requests we had. This villa was in a peaceful location and about a 30 minute walk to the Ubud town centre. We loved the showers that were outdoors yet still private. Made provided lots of breakfast options which were all good.

Very comfortable & clean room. Friendly & helpful personnel. Had a restful night there. Central but quite location. Few meters away from Alchemy center, Dragon tea temple & waroeng Bernadette. Strongly recommend it & would definitely come back !

Thank you, Made. This accommodation was everything we could need for a comfortable one-month stay in Ubud. We cook a lot and really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. When there was an issue with one of the appliances, Made helped us with another option. We received regular housekeeping with fresh flowers and refills on water. The house is very clean, has beautiful decor and we loved walking to quiet nearby coffee shops in the rice fields. Made’s Son, Konek drove us from the airport and both he and Made helped us get our bags to the house via scooter. We also hired Konek to drive us to other parts of the island. He is a terrific driver. We really enjoyed getting to know him and recommend him highly, just as we recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Ubud. We would feel fortunate to be able to stay again. :)

what a beautiful place and the most welcoming hosts I ever had, the place is about 20 min walking from the main street with shoppings, Ibud palca and lovely cafes and restaurants. You will enjoy the swimming pool after a long day of activities. i recommend 1000%

Nyos and his team are amazing. Location is beautiful. The views are amazing. It feels like you were in the middle of a treehouse mansion. However, if you do not like bugs and insects , this is not the place for you. You need to keep in mind that you are in the middle of a jungle and there are many crawling bugs, flying bugs that come into the house during the day when the doors are open.. otherwise everything was perfect and the service of the team was excellent, they did their best to make sure I was happy.

Huset var större än det såg ut på bilderna, stora fina rum. Väldigt rent och fräscht, men det är ett hus som är 25 år gammalt. Frukosten var fantastiskt. Omelett och pannkakor som var de bästa hittills på resan. Wayan och hans fru tog väldigt väl hand om oss 🤩 Det enda som störde, var att det pågick ett byggnadsarbete precis nedanför. De kom in i en fas när det bankade och slog väldigt mycket. Men hade vi inte varit hemma och sjuka mitt på dagen, hade vi knappt märkt av det. Väldigt prisvärt boende med den goda frukosten och transfer in till Ubud C.

Well maintained property and a very courteous host is what I would like to describe my stay. Location is beautiful.All services are working. Icing on the cake is “Very friendly” nature of host, who is very proactive in looking after guests requirements and is very easy to communicate to.Definitely a must visit. Thanks Harta for making our visit so pleasant.

Nyoman has been a fantastic Host, he and his family were willing to help at anytime even with the luggage! The lady who brings the breakfast was always very friendly and helpful smiling all time. The surrounding area is really very good with everything you need just a few meters like money change, renting a bike or even a Laundry shop! I recommend to rent a bike from the Nyoman’s brother who is just next door and discover Ubud and surrounding area. I have really no negative points at all. Everything was perfect and exactly like the photos! Definitely gonna book it again or recommend it to other friends.

We loved our stay here. The villa is beautifully set in colourful, tropical greenery. We particularly enjoyed the pool as the surrounding Pagoda flowers attracted butterflies which we watched come and go while swimming - a truly amazing experience! We were greeted with such warm hospitality and fantastic food. David was extremely helpful and very informative about how to best enjoy the area and indeed the island. We would wholeheartedly recommend and look forward to returning next year.

très bon séjour chez oki. Petit déjeuner chaque matin apporté avec le sourire par son papa qui est un homme d une gentillesse extrême.J ai même pû laver su linge grâce à lui.Piscine agréable. Villa éloigné du bruit de Ubud, facilement accessible avec un graab. De quoi manger à proximité si vous ne voulez pas aller trop loin. Bref nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

The place is an absolute paradise! The territory is huge and includes several building entities, such as the major building with several separated beds and bathrooms. There is also a separate building with a one-room bedroom with its own bathroom. The communication was great with Steve and Ayu. We had an idea of having a barbecue event, and Ayu helped in all the organisational matters.

A fantastic stay at Marcos villa! Location is absolutely scenic. Beautiful views from every room. Rooms were quite spacious with outdoor bathrooms. Pool was gorgeous, my kids spent a lot of time in the pool. Delicious breakfast served every day and catered to my family of veg and non-vegetarians. Very well-maintained property. Special mention to Wayan and his family for taking such good care of us. Specially my old parents. Absolute gem of a person. Very grateful to have met such loving and kind people, thanks again Wayan for organising everything, especially the floating breakfast for my mother in laws 70th! Highly recommend this property. Marco has been very responsive and helpful.

Ta ki villaya giriş yapana kadar herkes çok dost canlısıydı bizim için ellerinden geleni yaptılar kendi evimizde gibi hissettik hiç yabancılık çekmedik dışarı çıktığımızda villamızın önünde biz gelene kadar bekleyen güvenlik duruyordu güvenlik açısından çok önem veriyorlar. Havalimanına ilk indiğimizde bizi nyoman karşıladı ve yardımseverliğiyle bütün tatil boyunca onunla gezmemiz gerektiğini hissettirdi. Bu villada kesinlikle kalabilirsiniz. Nyoman size tatil boyunca eşlik edip arabasıyla gezdirebilir. Her şey için çok teşekkürler.

We had a great time staying here for 4 days. You need to walk 3-4 mins from the main road (where you can park your scooter if renting one) to get here but the walk is beautiful and surrounding is very peaceful. Tria and her brother helped us with our luggage at arrival and departure. It was great to wake up to the sounds of chirping of birds in the morning. The place is also very close to central Ubud area. We could easily walk there on our first day and rented a scooter to explore more areas for rest of the days.
