We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb! The location is perfect for those seeking adventure with family and friends, offering a great balance of nature and comfort. The large room on the second floor was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 10 comfortably. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private onsen—it was absolutely amazing! Being able to enjoy a relaxing soak every day made our trip extra special. The onsen is large enough to fit multiple people, but if you only need a quick shower, you’ll have to take turns using it. The house is heated using a gasoline heater, which worked fine for us, but it’s good to be aware of this in advance. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy yet adventurous getaway!

Our stay at Iori’s place in Hida-Furukawa was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The house itself is a beautiful blend of traditional Japanese charm and modern comfort—immaculately clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. They even have the heated floor, an onsen bath and very comfortable beds! The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of Hida-Furukawa, allowing us to easily explore the town’s picturesque streets, historic temples, and serene canals. Iori was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations for local food, sights, and hidden gems. We got lost in the wrong station once and we're very grateful that they came and help Staying here truly made our trip unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return! I used it as a graduation trip as a group of four men and women!The room was fully equipped with daily necessities, and we had no inconvenience!It was one of the best memories!

The wooden house is very comfortable and cozy, very much like a ski hut hhh, the audio-visual room is very convenient to use, and it brought a lot of fun to our trip ~

What a privilege to stay in an Edo style home. We enjoyed exploring the home and especially loved the bathroom and water trough out the front We drove here from Takayama and found it to be a great stop for a couple of nights with beautiful walks close by. We explored the kiso valley and the local neighbourhood (Mizufune Post Town).

The building was beautiful and a pleasant space to spend time in.Kitchen utensils and other items are also available.They also responded quickly and politely to questions before our stay, making it a comfortable stay.Children were also delighted with the Yogi Ball Room and hammocks.Thank you very much.

This place was awesome. The house has been restored to feel truly special. Everything is nice and comfortable and just felt like we had everything we needed. Thierno gave us a thorough rundown of everything we needed to know and made us feel welcome. Any follow up questions I had were quickly answered, but generally we didn't need anything because everything was already great. We had our toddler with us and while they didn't have any crib or baby chair, we found the space to be great for her nonetheless. We had 4 adults, which was comfortable, but anymore might start to feel a little cramped. The only downside to this place is that if you plan to walk back from the old town, it's about 5-10 minutes of walking uphill without much shade. This was a little rough, so we figured out it's better to just walk over to the train station and hop in a cab back up instead. Would absolutely recommend staying here and will look at other Iori locations in the future.

There is a traditional public bath nearby, which you can enjoy from early morning.It's also fun to walk around and explore. There are many restaurants nearby, so you can enjoy dinner.We recommend making an early reservation. The parking lot of this house is large, so I was able to park my car easily. The nights are very quiet, so you can relax. There is not much traffic, so you can feel safe taking a walk with your children.

Check-in was pretty seamless and fully digital - no key needed. Layout was good considering the size of the unit - quite spacious dining n living room, yet has 2 showers and 2 non-kitchen sinks meaning 2 pax can wash up simultaneously. Location quite close walking distance to a Lawson, and only a 10min drive away from most city centre attractions such as Matsuzakaya, Osu Kannon, Science Museum, and Oasis 21, 15min drive to Higashiyama Zoo, 25min to Ghibli Park. Host was fast and responsive when we updated that there were no trash bin bag replacements, and delivered it next morning along with some fruits! It would have been nice to have child-friendly cutlery, and also umbrellas as it rained for a few days so we bought out own. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Except for the location, everything was great! You can get a ride when you come, you can't get a ride when you go. The owner is very warm and considerate, prepared water and snacks ~ Amazing view from the window I especially like the cherry blossom tree in the yard!❤️

We stayed with 3 families of 12 people, but there were plenty of beds and we were able to relax!It was great to have a BBQ even though it was raining!

We loved Saori’s house. Large and spacious with lots of cutlery, crockery, record player and games. It’s feels like their holiday home with all of the extras. It’s in such a gorgeous, stunning location that it’s hard to imagine it’s real. The view of the mountains and rice paddies are delightful. It was a fair distance from where the bus dropped us off, we walked for about 25mins to get there. But it was definitely worth it. Just be sure to have groceries with you if you need them. Once there, it’s walkable to onsens, restaurants and lots of local attractions. We were sad to leave!

This is a very typical Japanese apartment, the host was very friendly, like his own uncle, staying at relatives' house.He came by to say hello, helped us and answered a lot of questions. At first I felt that the location and transportation were not very convenient, but then I found that it was not a problem with the apartment, but the transportation in all of Nagoya was quite inconvenient.Good that it is very quiet in this location for a steady sleep.It would have been better if the hallway light light at the door could be turned off. You can walk to the port of Nagoya, and the nearby bookstore is very good.And some izakayas should have a try.

I loved staying here. It was in a great location and was very beautiful. I ran around the area and it was so amazing. The place was clean and cozy, I would recommend it!

It was very neatly organized, and I had a comfortable stay. They also provided cup ramen and water, which was very helpful on the day I came back late at night. It was also convenient to be able to park two cars. Also, they were very polite about my forgotten items, which was helpful. I would like to stay there again when I go nearby in the future.

daichi's place is very nice. his staff is very accomodating. also the interior of the area is very nice. their service very premium. also, his breakfast sandwich also tastes nice. we got the whole place for us to stay. we had a solo dining area, entertainment area and livinh room area. their staff also gave us a ride to the mitsui outlets for free. i recommend them. the price is worth their service. thank you daichi and his team for hosting our family.

Of all the places I’ve stayed in Japan, this was the best. Our host was phenomenal and very responsive during our stay. It’s in a quiet area in a neighborhood south of the main Nagoya area. They made us feel extremely welcome in an area very different from the city.
