This is the location where the movie "Father of the Galactic Railroad" was filmed and released in May 2023.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that movie.The scene of the used bookstore of "Gisho Hiroshi-san" was taken at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans will continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the eerie silence.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of paper lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. We can bring you a hot breakfast every morning if you want. You can use the kitchen to cook meals. Cooking utensils and basic seasonings (oil, salt, pepper) are provided. Cozy, Clean, Convenient & quiet home in Gifu

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
