House holiday rentals in Giles County

Clay's listing exceeded our expectations as far as spaciousness and comfort. He told us we were the first to rent it since the winter season so there were some minor things that needed to be addressed such as a broken kitchen disposal (he called a plumber that arrived after we left), several large spiders/bugs, a missing shower curtain (he came over and installed the shower curtain in a day), a rocking chair arm that broke but luckily no one got hurt and a broken door lock which meant we had to walk around the garage. These minor issues didn't impact us much during our stay should be mentioned. The private pool is beautiful and exactly why we booked the house. You should bring some floating rafts if that's how you like to relax. There is plenty of pool furniture to sit in but some loungers would have been a nice touch. The outdoor table for 8/10 with a large umbrella was also nice. They are building an outdoor bathroom which will be helpful. We had a lot of fun family time

Julia was such a great host! The home was nice and cozy. Nice neighborhood .We loved relaxing on the big comfy couch. We only used one room, but that bed was great. Nice to have a fenced in back yard for our dog. Definitely recommend!

We had such a relaxing stay. I got the best sleep of my life on that master bed. The home was so much better than the pictures! This is truly a luxury property. They've appointed it with luxury amenities and finishes. At every turn I felt like someone was thinking of me. We truly felt like we recieved hospitality rather than just a place to stay that had a kitchen. It was more like staying at friend's home that knows our likes and dislikes and set it up just for us! Everytime I wanted for something and wondered if they had something, it was there! And many times, in multiples if you can imagine. My family already is planning our return.

Annette’s beautiful home in Athens, AL is filled with southern charm and a very homey feel. The front porch is lovely to drink your morning coffee on and wave at the lovely neighbors as they walk by with their pets or on their way to or from work. The pool was just right for a cool dip and even though it rained almost our whole stay, it did not detour us from having a great time. Annette was a wonderful host with plenty of suggestions of places to eat or things to do. Our favorite places in town were The Old Bear Brewery and the Broken Paintbrush. The location was great for a day trip to Huntsville and Sheffield (the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio tour was so good). Overall we loved our stay and will absolutely recommend this place in the future! Thank you Annette for your hospitality and attention to detail!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Shannon’s home. The house was beautifully decorated and even prettier than the pictures. We enjoyed being on the water and waking up each day to the expansive views of the river. The home was equipped with everything we could have needed, very clean and Shannon was friendly and responsive. We will definitely look into staying at this property again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Columbia. Mama Mila’s was recommend by the host and they did not let us down! Dinner was delicious. We felt at home and were so happy to have a place to wind down after long days at the ball fields!

Our stay at “The Guest House” Was truly an amazing experience and such a beautiful clean and spacious home. Kim was an amazing host and we will def return!!

Acorn Acres is a lovely and peaceful spot. The property is quiet and full of greenery; the home is clean and beautifully prepared. We had a delightful stay. The highlight of our stay has been the tremendous hosts. Jennifer and Shaun are just incredible - responsive, friendly, and so kind. We had a few last minute changes and had to request not only an early check in but also an extended stay. They were so accommodating and communicative; I can't say enough wonderful things about our hosts. Thank you, Jennifer and Shaun!

This place was amazing! Seriously it is truly a hidden gem! It looks like an out building/shed on the outside but they did an amazing job renovating it into a 3 bedroom home. The owner is super responsive and friendly. We did not have any issues and would 100% recommend this place to stay!

This home was amazing! It was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space for our basketball team and accompanying parents/coaches. There was also fun activities....the putting green, pool table, kayaking, and lake swimming were loves by all!! The balconies were nice to have coffee while enjoying the peaceful lake view. We would definitely choose this home again if we return to this area next year!

Tina's place is clean, comfortable and spacious. Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury. I can wholeheartedly recommend this airbnb!

Quiet, peaceful location. I needed a place to stay while visiting family. Brad was able to accommodate me at the last minute. The location was easy to find, and peaceful. Brad was quite welcoming and reassured me that he was available if i ran into any issues. His response time is always immediate. My favorite part, listening to the crickets at night, and waking up to the cows and bunnies around the property in the morning. I recommend this location for anyone who enjoys the peaceful country life.

We really enjoyed Nana’s Place! It was a very convenient location for what we wanted, but regardless of that it was clean and comfortable in a pretty setting. We liked having a full kitchen with plenty of cookware and utensils. No complaints! A great place!

We LOVED Whispering Cottage. The location was perfect for us. Easy access to anything you might need. As soon as we got there, we knew we had found a gem. Everything was sparkling clean. It was bright and airy. You had all the privacy you needed. And the space is just adorably decorated! They’ve thought of everything to make it cozy and feel like home. Next time I need to be in the area, I am checking to see if Amy’s cottage is available. Even our friends , who were local, want to spend a staycation there!!
