Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gilford

A great place to get away! Without a television to distract you, you can soak in the views of the lake from the couch or the kitchen table. We cooked over the fire outside, eat in the sunshine on the picnic table, and paddled around the lake. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, comfortable, and peaceful home—perfect for our family of five! The space was quiet, private, and truly felt like a home away from home. It's in a beautiful location right by Lake Province, and we had almost everything we needed for our 3-night Easter weekend stay. Our older children attend UNH, and this was the perfect spot for us all to be together, relax, play games, and enjoy quality family time. We love to cook, and the brand new kitchen was gorgeous and a joy to use—we prepared three amazing meals together! Just a heads-up for fellow cooks: the kitchen is stocked with the basics, so if you're planning more elaborate meals, you might want to bring a few extra tools. The outdoor space was also a highlight! With beautiful weather all three days, we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the fire pit, string lights, grilling, eating al fresco, and just being together. We truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

This beautiful lake front home was a great space for our group (8 adults, 1 infant, dog)! Plenty of space for everyone to gather, inside or outside. Lake amenities were such a plus! Carl and other co-hosts were so responsive leading up to our stay and during!

Great spot in Gifford for a winter family ski vacation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made our stay for the holidays very comfortable including Christmas stocking treats for our dog.

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

Pristine location right on Silver Lake. The house was lovely, clean and welcoming. We loved having our morning coffee right out back on the edge of the lake (literally and right out our back door!) The surrounding were quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding and needed a house that could accommodate 3 adult couples. Nadia's house was perfect! The 3 bedrooms were roomy and comfortable with queen/king beds. The downstairs living space was also large with enough seating for the 6 of us to gather. It rained the entire time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the lake (which is across the street) or the kayaks but I imagine in nice weather that would be a great place to hang out. The house is about 7 minutes to "downtown" Wolfesboro which sits between two lakes and has some quaint shops and a good number of restaurants, bars and bakeries/cafes. The local grocery store is located just on the edge of the downtown area. Nadia provided checkin info before we arrived so that process was seamless. If we were to go back to this area, we'd definitely stay at Nadia's again.

We had a great stay , the cottage was exactly as described , the rooms were so spacious for relaxing We were there for a wedding so it was set up perfectly for different couples Our weather was not great , so we did not get to use the beach ,but we did fish . So nice to be close to the water , and down town

This place was really nice! Its on a beautiful lake with a lot to do! Jessica had plenty of kayaks, canoes, and life vests. The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's also very close to many great hiking areas Mt Washington.

This home at a lake was exactly as described, adorable, and the perfect relaxing getaway. You can't be more "on the water" without getting wet! Looking out over the lake in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the loons...awesome! Great location too as there are some great spots to eat nearby, simple drive to Portsmouth in one direction and Concord in the other. Our host was super informative and responsive, and the home was immaculate when we arrived. 10/10 would stay here again and would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Nice and clean. Smelled fresh. The cottage was as described and even had more homey accents than expected - coffee maker, coffee pods, coffee milk, condiments in the fridge, toaster, snacks, nice dishes and cookware, great TV, comfy sofa and even an electronic fireplace in the main bedroom. Many thoughtful details throughout. Soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Extra towels. A hot tub ready to enjoy and kayaks at the house to use at the nearby lake. I really wish it wasn’t a downpour weekend so we could’ve used the hot tub and kayaks. Quiet neighborhood. Parking for 1-2 cars. Great notebook chock full of helpful information of the area. Nice touch! We would stay here again and can see this being a great location for summer with the lake and water availability. The owners were kind and very responsive to any and all feedback.

They were accommodating, flexible, and very gracious. They had an entire binder of information with details about where to find fans, towels, flashlights, how to work the shower, heat, grill, and about anything else you can think of. It also had emergency services, restaurants, places to have a good time, and good details about checkout expectations. Overall we were extremely happy with the property and our stay, and were honored by the personalization they did for us specifically as it was our Honeymoon and they wrote us a custom note by hand for when we arrived. Highly Recommended - Will Rent Again!

The cottage was an excellent place to stay, a clean comfy environment with a wonderful yard.

This is the first Airbnb that I have rented. The host was responsive and answered my questions. The house was clean and looked exactly as pictured on the app. The host left out simple and reasonable house rules. The only thing that I would have liked to been different is if the check in time was an hour early and the check out time an hour later. As well as the price was a high after all the applicable fees. This being the first time I rented an airbnb this could be a normal thing that exists in the app and not the fault of the host. But advertising between 700-800 a night but after the fees it was over 2400 for 2 nights! So that 700-800 a night was really 1200 a night. That drastically increased the advertised cost. No one likes that. Again not blaming the host for the fees but if they know the fees are built in to the app they should lower the advertising price. When you go to check out and the cost is twice what you are expecting is crazy! Other than the price there was no complaint

We went for our baby moon. The location… ambience… all of it, created a relaxing and nice way to get away from the kiddos and celebrate adding an our third! We’ll come back with the kiddos next time though because the pond, paddleboards, and kayaks are more than worth it!

The view is even more stunning in person! Spent the weekend here with my family and it was breathtaking to say the least. Half of our time was spent just admiring the view because it’s that good. Cozy decor and open floor plan made it easy to settle in and feel right at home. Peaceful private neighborhood with great foliage. Perfect place for getting out on the water in kayaks, making s’mores, stargazing, and creating life long memories. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!!

Natalia’s home was beautiful! We stayed for a winter ice fishing weekend with a few couples, including dogs and babies. The home was right on the ice, which was perfect for our purpose. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The living room seating was particularly great- everyone always had a comfy spot to sit. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a great time staying at this gem! Had all appliances you need to stay in and cook all weekend and had an amazing grille! Very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend

Wonderfully peaceful, tranquil setting on the lake, in the woods. Perfect for a quiet getaway to reflect and renew. Everything was exactly as described, and Laurel was a gracious and responsive host. The cabin was rustic yet newly refinished, very clean, well equipped. Enjoyed the screened in gazebo, loved sitting by the water as well, plus experiencing the lake in the canoe and kayak. Also enjoyed some great hiking and views at Mt Kearsarge which is less than 20 minutes away. And finally -- the sounds of the loons after sunset. Grateful for three days of renewal!

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return! The cabin is lovely. My daughter enjoyed kayaking around the lake. We also enjoyed the science center, Walter’s basin, and birdwatching. Thank you!

Tom and Kayla really outdid themselves with this cabin. They were very flexible when we needed to postpone this trip for a whole year due to illness. They were super responsive and were able to help with a few things. It was the perfect place for our needs.

This beautiful A-Frame was a perfect weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here and it was in a great location with perfect accommodations for two people. The place was clean with great amenities (grill, fireplace, etc.) Will definitely be hoping to return in the future / am eager to recommend this property to anyone.
