This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. When the Army shut the plant down thirty or so years ago, the Caddo Caboose was created with the car being made it into a unique weekend getaway. The Caboose is fully furnished 1 bedroom lodge with living, dining & bathroom areas as well as WiFi, Cable & DVD amenities. All you have to bring is the food you want to cook & your toiletries. A charcoal grill is provided on a private deck overlooking the water.

We had a great stay at Cricket Hollow! The place was spotless and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable—everyone slept great. It’s a clean, cozy, and well-kept spot that’s perfect for a peaceful getaway at Caddo Lake. Highly recommend!

The house was so cute! Very cozy and we felt right at home. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, BEAUTIFUL screened back porch with TV, outdoor dining table and had a fan and heaters. We were not lacking anything! The one and only downside is there are trains running through town very near the house about every hour, day & night, but it didn't ruin our stay in the least. Make sure to take a stroll through the neighborhood to see the beautiful historic houses and magnolia trees!

My husband and I were in the area to celebrate him getting his Doctorate in Education and myself earning my License as a Nursing home Administrator. So, we decided on a R&B concert…and while looking for places to stay… we stumbled on your place. Well let me say it didn’t disappoint. It was a perfect escape and only up the street from concert. We don’t come to Shreveport for much but if we ever do…..your place 10/10 highly recommend. Food recommendations: Orlandeaux’s Creole and Soul
