Holiday rentals with lake access in Gironde

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

We were a group of 8 adults. The house is as it appears in the photos. We enjoyed the large dining room and its back garden. The house is very close to the public transport that took us to the center of Bordeaux and also close to different large supermarkets. Behind the house, you can access a charming area of forest and small lakes. The host was very kind, responding promptly to our questions, and his directions to the house were accurate. We would repeat the stay right now!!!. Thank you for everything, Raphael.

The apartment was exactly as it looked. It felt perfect for our stay and with very responsive hosts it made everything easy. Even with my engine blowing up on my car I was supported and advice given to allow me to get back to my destination after my stay. Could not recommend any higher if I tried.

Yannick and Catherine's accommodation is clean, functional and easy to access. In addition, they were very flexible and even allowed us to arrive a little earlier in the accommodation, so we could prepare to go to a wedding in the area. I highly recommend it!

I had a very nice 3 night stay at Thibault's place. The location is great, you can be on the beach of Moutchic in a few minutes and there are fabulous places nearby to enjoy the lake. People here are very relaxed. Shopping in very well-stocked Super U - 10 minutes by car. In the apartment you have everything you need, and it is particularly nice to enjoy the wooden terrace in the morning and evening. I'm sure it wasn't the last time here.

We had a pleasant stay at Marie's. The house is very well equipped, very clean. Very quiet neighborhood, the lake is close by as well as the forest. Thank you to Marie for her kindness, everything is planned for a good vacation. We recommend this Landes house.

We had a fantastic holiday with our two young kids. The accommodation has really everything for a super comfortable and laidback stay as a family. From outdoor kitchen to swimming pool, hammock and quiet, dark bedrooms. Everything is present. With the sea, the lake and the forests within walking and cycling distance, it is a perfect location for balance in terms of peace and activity. We recommend this! We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We had a lovely time staying at Eric and Fabianne’s beautiful guest house. The riverside setting is idyllic, and we loved the picturesque rural surroundings and historic towns. Our hosts had everything on hand for our baby son and he had a very happy stay. The setting balances tranquility with easy access to shops and restaurants by car. It’s an ideal hub to explore Bordeaux. Huge thanks to our wonderful hosts.
