Scott School Cottage Stay at Scott School

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

A fabulous getaway with the comforts of home. The cottage is unique with loft bedroom, huge deck and fire pit. Recently internet access has been added The field is perfect for ballgames, disc golf or star gazing. The creek will lure you in. A catfish pond waits over the hill. With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or plain old serenity. Note: there’s no TV, children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

We are about 6 minutes from Liberty University, 8 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Lynchburg College and 20 minutes from the hospitals. Discounts are given for stays seven or more days. This charming rustic cabin is located at Hat Creek Camp, a 350+ acre camp with over 7 miles of hiking trails and two lakes. The cabin has three rooms, a bedroom, bathroom, and common space/kitchen. 18th Century Cabin Retreat

Come enjoy our 18th century cabin! They don't make them like this anymore. One side built in 1750, the other in 1825. Sit under the giant white oak and enjoy the country air. This is a wonderful retreat to kick back and relax. Enjoy the pool, horseshoes, and fire pit. In the winter months, cozy up by the wood stove or fire place with gas logs. NO PETS!!! Please do not bring your pets. Owners live on site, so if you are in need of anything, please ask!

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

White Cottage

Newly renovated. Close to everything when you stay at this central location. 13 miles from LU and Lynchburg. Three miles from Dominos, Subway, Hardees, Courthouse Cafe, La Carretta, and Long Mountain Grill. Another great local spot includes The Colonial Restaurant. In addition, you are only two miles from Food Lion. Our house is private and easy to get to. We live on a main road. Getting in and out are a breeze.
