Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

Beautiful bright apartment in the attic with fantastic views over Lake Walen. On the outskirts of Obstalden am Kerenzerberg. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides and ski tours. Quiet location and good infrastructure in the village with village shops and restaurants. In Filzbach (5 minutes by car or bus), the Kerenzerbergbahnen offer various activities throughout the year. The gondola lift in Unterterzen, which leads to the Flumserberg ski and hiking area, can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

The apartment is surrounded by nature, away from the road, yet close to the village. There you will find shopping facilities such as Volg, Spar mini, bakery with coffee and also a restaurant. We also have an indoor pool, where you can enjoy the warm water on the bubble loungers and admire the mountains. The apartment has many toys, a TV with 7 days of replay. The kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. From the living room and bedroom you can see the mountains and Lake Walen.

The apartment is located in a Villa constructed in 1902. It was completely renovated in 2012 and refurnished with loving attention to details. The apartment is ideal for small groups and families as well as for individuals. In total, there are four rooms which provide space for six people (two double-beds and one double sleeping-sofa). Our paradise invites you to relax. Cozy guest room upstairs with en-suite bathroom and fantastic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. The living room is for shared use, and there is a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Please note: There is no kitchen and no possibility to cook. Our cat also lives in the attic. We live in a remote location, so a car is an advantage. Parking space and seating area with fire pit available.

Our house is located in a small mountain village in the middle of the Glarus mountains near Elm. The apartment is right in the host's house. Part of the garden belongs to the apartment. A gas grill is available for our guests for exclusive use. Free parking by the house. We care about the well-being of our guests. The large apartment is decorated in a warm Scandinavian style and has a private sauna (working again thanks to a new stove). Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.
