James and Tom welcome you to our lovingly restored red brick Victorian home in Phibsborough with all mod cons, luxurious surroundings and peaceful flower filled garden for your enjoyment. We are a short 15 minute walk to the centre of Dublin and all that this vibrant city has to offer. We are close to the Botanic Gardens and a short drive to the beautiful Phoenix Park, home to Dublin Zoo and roaming deer. Our home is fully equipped with all mod cons including WIFI, cable tv, power shower in our large (shared) luxury bathroom, feather filled pillows and duvets, nespresso coffee machine etc, We are a gay couple who have been together for over 20 years and would be delighted to welcome you to stay in our comfortable and convenient home. We would be happy to provide you with an extensive continental breakfast in our sunny breakfast room or on the patio listening to the gurgling fountain of our fish pond! Our neighbourhood is a traditional area of Dublin where you can find all amenities in the locality including supermarket, pubs and most shops that any visitor would require. Because we are so close to the city centre and on a major bus and taxi route, the city is easily accessible for more fine dining and theatre options. If you like the idea of staying in a real Victorian period home with working real fires and fireplaces, elegant cornicing and a delightful cottage style walled garden, this is the place for you.

A private cozy cabin located in the back garden of my family home. An open space cabin featuring a king sized bed, kitchen and bathroom with a toilet (Shower is in the main house, access to the shower is easy). Your own garden with a gate & fence for privacy, side entrance also available. We have two small very friendly dogs. 3 minute walk from shopping centre, 5 minute walk from Beaumont hospital, 1 minute walk from bus stop, 15 minute bus journey into city centre. Ideal for a couple or single.

Bernadette was a great host and her dog Leo is the bestest boy ever! While buses go frequent, it takes around half an hour to get to the city-center, which is absolutely fine considering the price one would have to pay to stay in a hotel in the center! Bernadette even gave us these pre-paid bus cards that can be charged by phone which were incredibly useful. I recommend bringing ear plugs, as it’s necessary to sleep with the window open during the warmer season which faces a very busy and loud street. Overall, our stay with Bernadette was great and I highly recommend staying at her place if you’re looking for an affordable place in Dublin!

I really enjoyed during my stay in Dublin. Theodore and his family were so kind. They even let me check-in 2 hours before. They were so helpful and answered all of my questions. Place was located so nice that you can easily access from city center and airport. If you look for somewhere affordable and easy to reach you can definitely choose Theodore’s place! Claudia has a beautiful space and I truly enjoyed my stay! It definitely is a suburb vibe but it’s an easy walk to transit sites. The space was very clean, and I had my own privacy despite it being a shared common space. My room had a lovely view and great sunlight (added bonus there were blackout curtains)! It was easy to get in and out of the property and it was really convenient that there’s a grocery store close by. Claudia was so kind and helpful when I had trouble finding the place and overall just a great host. She ensured I felt welcome, offered recommendations, and I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with her! Would highly recommend as a nice, cute, quiet place to stay!
