House holiday rentals in Glenorchy

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Bowen was just a great host and very responsive. The home was wonderful with an amazing view, love sitting there and watching the ships. When we are in Hobert will be staying there again.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

This apartment was in an ideal location — walkable from the city (just note there’s a hill on the way back!). The view from the balcony overlooking the harbour was stunning. It was peaceful, cosy, and wonderfully warm after exploring the city in the chilly Dark Mofo weather. Kelly was super responsive and shared plenty of great recommendations for our stay. We absolutely loved Hobart and will definitely be back!

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . Fionna was exceptional. her communication was clear and timely and she was extremely helpful. by far one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Hobart. I would definitely book again, make sure you do the same!

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

Thank you to Eve for the wonderful hosting and accommodation. The house is incredible, a great mix of original house that has been modernised through an amazing extension. Eve was generous in providing late check-out upon request. Location is fantastic, very central in the west of Hobart. Highly recommended.

This is our 2nd stay at Lee's apartment and once again, the place did not disappoint. The online photos do not do the property the justice it truly deserves. Lee is a super friendly, very responsive host and will gladly help with any questions you may have. This is by far the best apartment we have come across and yes we will return. We had a fantastic stay at James’s Airbnb! The place is thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless—it felt brand new. James was an excellent host with great communication, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay!

Really loved our stay here. We are pretty picky but everything was clean and well thought out. Loved the sauna and the fireplace being setup ready to light was really easy. Enjoyed a morning walk along a track out the back too and the provided amenities were really appreciated.

Lovely and clean, quite, private accommodation. It was great that our fur baby was allowed inside. Fresh lemons on the bench, which were nice in my tea and Ros was very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Rob's place is beautiful inside and out. The views are spectacular. It's super quick and easy to walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The house is simply a joy to be in - light filled, comfy and wonderfully styled. You'll find everything you need here. Rob is a generous and accommodating host, communicating openly and responding promptly. We look forward to our next stay at Rob's place!

This property is 5 star throughout. Very classy. Loved the art work. The bath was luxurious. Beautiful deck out back. Quality linen. Exceptional value. $9 Uber ride into CBD. Eating places also walking distance. Local Italian Club had amazing food and is only 400 metres away. (Anyone welcome). Highly recommend this property.

Kerry and Marcelo’s home was just like the photos — warm, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Every time we needed something, we somehow found it already there, which made our stay feel so thoughtful and easy. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space — we’d love to come back one day!

Gorgeous place. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and so beautifully done. So warm and comfortable. The view is spectacular and the hot tub sublime. We had the loveliest, most romantic time. We’d love to come again.

One of the best places I've ever been. The house felt just like home from the first moment. Very comfortable and abundant. The location is excellent as well, as you are exactly the epicentre of all attractions in your to do list. The hosts are friendly, proactive and helpful. My family loved it and we are definitely coming back. It's definely the best place to live in Tassie.
