Our unique Ecopod was handcrafted in Wales, it is beautifully insulated with sheep wool and has a lovely smell of wood. The large double glazing doors allow you to make the most of sunlight, you are in the sunniest spot of the garden! The village has everything you need, four independent coffee shops, one bakery and two supermarkets. Further down you have the beautiful Hurstpierpoint, Ditchiling and Lewes, if you fancy more action, Brighton is 10 minutes away. FULLY HEATED for colder days.

Clive’s place was great and quirky, with lovely features and amenities. Liked the bee theme! Clive left us tasty bits for breakfast, such as milk, eggs, bacon and bread. Really responsive host and nice area. One thing I’d mention as I don’t think I saw it in other reviews is that the road could occasionally be loud (HGVs driving past doing more than the 30mph limit) so it might be worth bringing earplugs (obviously this is outside host’s control and did not ruin our experience - more of a tip!)

Loved our stay in this beautiful family home. Lots of room and great facilities. An umbrella for the outdoor table would have been nice but overall everything was as expected. We would be happy to stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was bright, clean and incredibly welcoming — exactly what we needed. Annaliese was kind, flexible and accommodating, which made traveling with our baby so much easier. She and her lovely family made us feel right at home and their warmth truly made a difference. Their sweet dog Winnie was calm and friendly and just added to the warm, homey feeling of the place. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming experience!

Our pod, glamping with a view

This was our second visit to Pippa's. The reason for our visit was to attend an event at the nearby Hickstead Showground, and the pod was a little oasis of calm after the bustle of the day. Set in a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of the South Downs. An easy walk to the visit of Hurst for cafes and places to eat of an evening, or pick up a takeaway and eat on the decking outside the pod as the sun goes down. Having been before I was aware of the limited but adequate kitchenette and brought suitable supplies. I really hope we will return for another visit.
