Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gogebic County

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!!!! We ate at the Pea Patch one evening and listened to some great live music Nearby grocery store was also very friendly and had everything we needed. Our dogs also loved the place as well :)

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in your home it was what we needed to accommodate a large family. The neighborhood was quiet, your neighbor Nancy made sure we had everything we needed and even joined us for supper and gave us some history of the area. Thank you once again. This home was everything you can ask for and more. All the amenities, including stuff you didnt know you would need were readily available for use. beautiful open and spacious back yard. Plenty of parking. Very clean and set up perfectly for adequate use of the space. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If in the area again, will 100% stay in this exact home again!

We booked this house for Michigan's fishing season opener, May 15. Perfect location on the north end of Lake Gogebic provided for great lake views and amazing sunsets. The dock and boat lift were in very good shape providing easy, safe access to the water. Too cold to swim, but the sand beach is a special, rare spot around this lake. Most shorelines are rocky, making it difficult to get to the water. The sandy shore and shallow water would be great for family water fun & swimming. The charming house was well stocked and had everything we needed. Dan was quick to respond to our messages and was eager to insure we had a good stay. Definitely, would return.

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

This place was great. Private, great property, house is clean and comfortable. Easy access to trails right from the property. Small town a short drive away with gas, small grocery store and a few places to get food.

Hands down one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed at! The house is extremely well appointed it is really almost like someone lives there. I felt like I was visiting an auntie. Kitchen was extremely well appointed with everything you could need including cookware dishware basic spices and staples. Beds are comfortable. There were extra pillows and blankets too. There are fans for when it's hot outside. Even the basement is nice and not scary or gross. A lot of love went into this house and making it cozy.

Ewelina’s place was the perfect setting for a quick weekend in nature. Ewelina was incredibly responsive and helpful. This cozy apartment was spotless upon arrival, comfortable, and was stocked with more than I could ever need. The attention to detail was evident; I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is my second time staying at Chris' Air BnB. We had another great stay! My son pointed out how clean the place was. It is well stocked--the beds comfortable, and WI-FI is solid. The apartment is conveniently located 20 minutes from the porkies, 1 hour from Ironwood, and 50 minutes from Houghton. Ontonagon is an idyllic/sleepy village. Make sure you have breakfast at Syls and coffee at Connie's :). I plan on making Chris' place a yearly tradition.

Great place and our family had a really good time. Great location to be able to ski in and out and the wood stove was a nice touch. The house was hard to find in the dark when we first arrived and price seemed a little steep for what it was. Overall nice place and we would recommend.

This was our 3rd stay here while working in town. Everything was great as usual and Kara was great with helping when we had to adjust our stay because of a work schedule change.

Great location right off the snowmobile trail and close to downtown. Nice big parking lot for a snowmobile trailer. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

We stayed during a snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow and Wendy made it really easy to add an extra night to the stay

My family along with the group of friends we brought along had a great time! For some of our grouop it was there first time to this lodging and skiing location and it proved to them that the ski-in/ski-out from the lodging was highly recommended and well worth it! Helena was very responsive on any questions we had and also was quick to jump on bringing over a few other items needed for the kitchen and bathrooms! We will look forward to scheduling another group at this location! It does have sleeping arrangements for 12 people, but we only had 10 this round and it was perfect allowing them all to be on a comfortable bed. Thanks again Helena for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as she described it and it was a homey stay for us while we enjoyed a weekend of skiing. We really liked having a fire in the evenings and there was space for us to dry our clothes from the day. The only bummer was having people stay above us. The floors were very creeky, but ear plugs helped with that while sleeping. Overall, we were happy with our choice to stay here and would definitely do it again.
