Gustavo and Sandra were great hosts and were very welcoming. They were very responsive when I needed help with anything. The apartment is in a great location. There are many food spots in walking distance, and Walmart is not too far away. There is a grocery store one block away. There are also a couple of gyms in walking distance. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

We rented David's place for a short trip to an event at the Palacio de los Deportes. The place was magnificent. We were quite surprised how well organized, spacious and clean it was. We stayed very little but you sleep very well. We were able to rest as much as we needed. I would have loved to stay longer.

This Airbnb is located in a quiet cul de sac that lends to the over all feeling of privacy and calm. The place is ideal for one or two people to use as a base for exploration. It’s easy walking distance to shops and a park. It’s also very close to a hotel that can be used to be picked up from when signing up for trips on trip advisor, Viator, or Get your guide. Juan Carlos and Mauricio were ideal hosts. We had arranged for a driver to pick me up. When the driver was unable to make it at the last moment,rather than cancel and refer me to uber, Juan Carlos, himself, came. I was impressed! Juan Carlos and Mauricio were available to answer any questions I had throughout my stay. They responded in short order to any communication I sent. They were warm and personable. The stay was handled in a professional yet caring manner. I’d choose this Airbnb again if I return to San Jose. I recommend it highly to you!

It was the perfect place to get an introduction to San Jose; we chose it due to its location to the central market and within walking distance to parks and museums and restaurants. Marie’s place faced north and was always comfortable without air conditioning. We had a very nice stay and she provides a nice home away from home.

Allan and Jorge were amazing Airbnb hosts with excellent communication throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions that made check-in and check-out super easy, and they shared great recommendations for shuttles, restaurants, and local spots. The apartment was peaceful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The photos in the listing are 100% accurate — what you see is exactly what you get. The neighborhood felt very safe, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the downtown area. Ubers are easy to get and cost around $3 USD, which was super convenient. We had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again!

A few steps from restaurants and the center of San José, the space was very clean and tidy, the spectacular view, the sliding doors of the room do not allow that between noise, the reception is very nice and the guys who work there were friendly, the check-in was quick and the host allowed us to arrive earlier as we had some activities to do.

this is a room in a really fun hotel. the hotel is new and very arty. the neighborhood is fun. the cafe to the right of the entrance is good with good wifi and food. to the right is a nice minimart (2nd one). there are nice parks nearby.

We loved our stay! Kathleen is a sweetheart and so kind and attentive. And her three dogs are adorable. The unit is perfect for two people. It is situated on a dead end street, making it a very quiet location with no street noise. There are so many places to eat just a quick Uber ride away - both Los Yoses and Escalante barrios are very nearby. Super convenient location and a wonderful host!

Very spacious apartment, exactly as advertised and in the photos. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a shower with hot water and good pressure. There was a problem with the internet on the first day, but Marie was very quick to help me solve it and the next day everything was fine. It is located in the city center, very close to tourist spots, restaurants and supermarkets. The center is quite busy and with a lot of homeless people around, but that did not hinder my stay.

It was great for getting in late and being near the bus stop for an early morning trip the next day.

I'm almost sure it's one of the best places I've stayed. And the attention of the guests had never seen it on an Airbnb. Extraordinary kindness. I am very grateful. 100% recommended.

I worked at the German School Abroad for three months and the accommodation is centrally located in Pavas and opposite the German school. Camille was a very good who always responded to guests' requests. The apartment was always super clean and the pictures correspond to reality.
