Situated in Sigriswil, a lovely village looking down on the lake of Thun. A 20 minute drive from Interlaken or Thun. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood, at night you will hear crickets, water from a spring and maybe some cowbells. What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful location, when we arrived the goats and alpacas were besides our cabin to greet us. It was such a surreal experience, the views were insane, the sound of the water and wildlife, honestly it was a bucket list experience for us. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the hosts were very helpful, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We will be back that’s for sure. Added bonus is it’s easily accessible off the bus route. Lovely local surroundings - if you visit check out the suspension bridge nearby.

Daniel and Monika are the best hosts I've ever met. Thanks to them, I rediscovered the original spirit of Airbnb: sharing the beautiful things in life. In this small village, we discovered a different way of life, everything was so peaceful and enchanting. I particularly enjoyed the evening walks on the country roads. It was my parents' very first trip to Europe, and they were amazed by the beauty of the place! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I sincerely hope to be lucky enough to return some day.

Beautiful house in a secluded and quiet area. Really a gem! Everything as in the pictures & super equipped. We had relaxing days with the family, including a small child. Communication was always flawless and very friendly! We highly recommend the Haus Ammon for cozy days in the middle of nature!
