The Monastery | Unique farmhouse near Lucca

In the hillside hamlet of San Pietro a Marcigliano, a few minutes away from Lucca, nestles The Monastery, a charming holiday house with pool surrounded by olive groves and wine yards. The construction of the main building of the estate goes back to the 1550s. In more recent times it was converted to an elegant family home, maintaining the architectural integrity of the original building. In the proximities you will also see other ancient buildings that once were barns and houses for the workers.

Dimentica ogni preoccupazione in questa ampia oasi di serenità. Intero alloggio con tre camere da letto per sei ospiti, due living room,cucina e bagno. Due terrazze ,un giardino. Parcheggio gratuito nella proprietà. Zona tranquilla da cui si può raggiungere la spiaggia di San Terenzo a piedi in 10 minuti oppure con bus navetta gratuito Salendo una gradinata si raggiunge ,in pochi minuti, la spiaggia di Baia Blu ( attrezzata con ristorante molto panoramico e piscine per adulti e bambini).

La nostra casa si trova tra Camaiore e il paese di Pedona, località Campiglioni. Il corpo centrale risale alla fine del '300 e nasce su un costone di pietra come stalla e alloggio. Ampliata e ristrutturata nel corso degli anni, al suo interno troviamo pavimenti di cotto dell'Impruneta, inferriate della famosa fonderia di Candalla, mattonelle di Vietri e travi antiche originarie di un antico palazzo Camaiorese. Non vi aspettate la perfezione, i suoi piccoli difetti la fanno essere unica.
