A pleasant relaxing break close to Paris. Clean and well-appointed accommodation, you feel good there. The hospitality and availability of the host is a real plus, not to mention Kili's company!

A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

House well suited to groups because there are lots of rooms , which is nice. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few shops nearby which is very nice. We had a great time at Olivier's

Charming stone house, very pleasant with its terrace, foosball, some games for children, the pool and right next to a large garden with goats, Lol (the very playful dog) and a trampoline. Ideal for our family and our 4 boys. The house is well-equipped and the bedding comfortable. The hosts are nice and welcoming. In the vicinity, some very nice museums and the Etampes recreation area which is ideal for families. Recommended if you want to get out of Paris without too much traffic.

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought out as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small corner with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

First experience on Airbnb, which I absolutely do not regret. Our host was available throughout the stay. We were very touched and satisfied with the welcome we received. The master bedroom is beautiful overlooking a magnificent bay window opening. The bathrooms are very stylish and modern. My children loved the movie theater. A simply magical weekend! The children were amazed from start to finish, just like us. We celebrated my spouse's birthday as a family around a barbecue, in a perfect setting to create beautiful memories. Everything went wonderfully, and this stay will remain etched in our memories. Wake up to the sound of birds, in peace, in a beautifully decorated house with all amenities. This was our second stay at Maison du Néflier. In the beautiful village of Saint Sulpice de Favières with its beautiful cathedral, a fantastic restaurant (Saint Louis) around the corner and a pretty surrounding forest for a stroll. It is an 8 minute drive to the nearest metro station and in 45 minutes you will be in the heart of Paris! Enjoy the perfect combination of romantic French countryside and bustling Paris. We enjoyed it again and David and Olivier are perfect hosts. They are always there for you, have perfect tips and are really nice, very cool superhosts. A jewel on Airbnb.

What a beautiful house in the country! Plenty of space, gorgeous backyard with lots to do & a convenient patio for dining al fresco. Nicholas was super helpful, responsive & a valuable resource. 15 min from Versailles & a quiant little village with friendly people, a beautiful church, and all the necessary shops within walking distance. Lots of hills in town & lots of stairs in the house so if you have health restrictions, 4 floors of living space & outside stairs might be challenging. If not, go for it. It's an absolute paradise in the country, perfect for relaxing, for hosting and for exploring a more leisurely pace of life. Nadia's accommodation was a dream. Super nice hosts, beautiful cottage and garden and a very sweet dog. We and our children felt very comfortable in Chevreuse.

We spent 48 hours in paradise. The huge garden (or should I say peninsula?) is absolutely stunning. The definition of both "la vie en rose" as well as "joie de vivre", as the French say. The house was very nice as well. And despite being about half a millenium old, it still has all the modern amenities. Christine our host was very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough!
