Amazing house in the middle of a paradise! We loved every second of our weekend and would recommend this place if you want to relax and recharge from the chaos of the everyday life. The house was clean and has everything you need.

The house is very cozy and in an exceptionally beautiful location! Heidy is very likeable and everything was tiptop. The exclusive access to the lake is awesome!

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

We had a wonderful stay with Isabelle and Heinz in their beautiful house in the Emmental. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view. Bern (!) and Burgdorf (Franz-Gertsch-Museum) were very worthwhile. Climbing the Napf is also recommended. Thank you Isabelle and Heinz for your hospitality and the good care! We hope to return soon.

Martin is an amazing host. We were very happy to stay in his place. It is far from typical “tourist” destinations but the location is gorgeous and the house is incredible.

We had a fantastic stay at Daniel’s place! It was absolutely perfect — even more spacious than it looked in the photos, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable, and the space had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The location was great too — convenient whether you have a car or not. Daniel was easy to communicate with and made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the stay - everything was so lovingly prepared and there was nothing missing. From fondue equipment to coffee pods and small welcome chocolate ☺️ it was really wonderful.

It was an absolute perfect stay for our family. I am so glad my parents are fully satisfied with Anita's shallet. They said its best of best among all the places we stayed during our previous journey in Europe! Anita was super kind and bright host she always gave us positive energy ;) her homemade apple juice is highly recommended that we had 7 bottles 😅 her homemade strawberry jam is so delicious as well. it was such nice of her to have a service to buy groccerries on behalf of us. she also recommended a must to visit places and restaurants we enjoyed them all. 6 nights are never long in this place so please enjoy each single day :) Anita, see u in few years ! stay happy 💚

Bright, well-equipped apartment with a great view. Ideal for outdoor activities such as bike trail, rope park, pump track and hikes. Indoor pool with cool slide right next door. We really enjoyed the stay! Astrid is a friendly, very helpful hostess. She was always immediately available for questions and concerns. Thanks again! Glad to come back! 🌻

had a wunderful stay. christian is an exceptional host and very resposive. we stayed in the upstairs appartment last year and liked that one a bit better as it felt roomier with higher ceilings and less dark, but still well worth the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sylvain and Anja’s place! The Airbnb is located in a peaceful area of Grindelwald away from the main tourist area, which is a huge plus. The views are absolutely stunning - you can see the mountains and surrounding fields and chalets directly from the windows, and there is a lovely balcony area where you can eat with an amazing panoramic view. The 3 bathroom to 3 bedroom ratio is a great perk. The kitchen in particular was especially well furnished with all sorts of dishes, tools, and spices needed for those who prefer to cook their meals. Sylvain and Anja were also very responsive and helpful, We preferred to walk and not drive (and enjoy hiking), but those with mobility issues may wish to use the bus or drive as there are a number of large hills enroute to the main village area. Overall we highly recommend this listing!

Great stay, home has everything. only thing is if person coming for first time using public with trolley bag then use the bike route. walk route is not suitable with laugage

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

If you are fit and looking for basic, off the beaten track, traditional & peaceful with stunning views this will surpass your expectations. Comfy bed, hot shower, forget the hairdryer, cook on the hob or bbq, buy groceries before you arrive, walk to the dairy amidst flower meadows to buy cheese & milk, enjoy cows with bells, marmots, deer, endless butterflies, the mountain views and walks. I loved the swing! Take walking boots, comfy slippers and a good book. I cried when we had to leave, it was just so beautiful.........a real gem. Gianni was kind and friendly and his place had a simple family warmth to it.

The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at the charming Rustico. Especially with our young dog, it was perfect with the garden. We'll be back. 😊

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

Beautiful, lovingly decorated, small cabin high up in the mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and climbing with our young children. It is very quiet on the Alp when the chairlift no longer runs in the evening. Aldo was very friendly and helpful. Even when it came to organizing luggage transportation. Great to really drive down. Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!
