Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gondomar

Parfait Grande maison rustique mais confortable. Un superbe jardin et de la tranquillité. Si vous cherchez du calme c'est là qu'il faut aller loin de l'agitation de la ville qui reste à une distance raisonnable ( 20 min Porto) les espaces sont très grands et la propriété beaucoup plus jolie que sur les photos.merci pour ce beau séjour. Nous reviendrons sûrement

Jorge's place has character. The deck and the backyard were both nice although we didn't really use them. It's a nice space with room to relax. Our favorite meal on our 3 week trip was their recommendation of Casa Viuva Wine Bar so their advice when given, it is spot on. Only complaint I would have is the hot water runs out fairly quickly in the shower, but it's an older house and I love long showers. You will get about 5 minutes. Other than that it's a wonderful town and good central location if you have a car for Porto or the Douro Valley

A casa é maravilhosa, a vista maravilhosa , a piscina , passeio de barco. O silêncio para descansar e a gentileza das pessoas desse paraíso foi demais. Muito obrigada por esses dias de repouso maravilhoso nesse pedaço do paraíso. Espero voltar !

Our stay exceeded our expectations in every sense! From the moment we arrived, our hostess Manuela was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She took the time to show us around the property, and even after having left, always promptly replied our messages. Even though the photos on the Airbnb page are nice, the whole place was actually much more beautiful, private and surrounded by nature than we expected. At moments we could hear nothing but birds singing. We were also delighted to see the many art installations scattered throughout the property, which made the experience very charming and unique. Overall, we can say very confidently that the place is a true gem, only about 20-30 minutes from Porto downtown, perfect for nature and art lovers. We're definitely planning to go back for a longer stay.

We were a family of 10 and we really enjoyed the house, gardens and the amazing fruits and vegetables given to us by Ruy caring hands!

This villa exceeded our expectations, and was well appointed to accommodate our needs. We were two families totally 4 adults and 4 kids, and the size was perfect. Outdoor amenities were great, including pool, bathhouse, picnic and barbecue area. The property was very private, and there was a Marina Bar next door that has great food (the burger is one of the best I've had). The only two downsides, which didn't impact my rating was that the wifi didn't work well (I had my own hotspot, and you might want to disconnect) and the beds are firm (seems common in Portugal, because we had a very similar experience at another place). We were looking for a place that was central to northern Portugal, and this worked out great (less then 30 mins to Porto). Being right on the Duro river was very relaxing. We were also able to experience folk dancing (rancho) next door at the marina one night, which was a great cultural experience.

Merci Joao pour cette location. C’est idéal pour la vue, l’agencement de la maison elle-même (chaque chambre possede sa douche + wc), les équipements généraux. La piscine aussi, même si non chauffée, étant bien exposée ça permet (surtout pour les enfants) de se baigner fin mai sans probleme ! Enfin, la communication a été très fluide, merci pour les recommandations de restaurant entre autre !

Super logement, parfait pour visiter Porto et ses environs. Restaurants à proximités. Belle ballade le long de l’océan. Parking sécurisé. Magnifique vu mer, rien à dire c’était juste parfait. Merci Marcos pour votre accueil.

Le logement est absolument incroyable ! Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de pouvoir séjourner dans cet appartement ! L’emplacement est idéal et proche du centre, la propreté est irréprochable et les prestations de très grandes qualités ! Merci beaucoup !

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

Vi var tre personer som delade på boendet och det var så fint att jag nästan ville flytta in permanent! Trevlig terrass och väldigt smakfull inredning i lugnt område. Det var en kort taxiresa från flygplatsen, bra närhet till matbutik och ett väldigt trevligt konditori. Bra val om man som vi gillar att bo lite avsides från de mest besökta turiststråken och upptäcka olika områden. Vi gick nästan överallt med undantag från några billiga taxiresor. 10 av 10 boende :)

Super accueil avec Porto et jus de fruit, super emplacement à 50m du metro et bus, logement un peu desuet mais parfaitement conforme aux photos donc pas de surprise, seul petit bemol l'escalier de la mezzanine très raide. Merci Carlos pour l'accueil dans un très bon francais et pour les bons conseil sur les restos, les choses à faire.

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. Communication was easy, was more than happy to help. Thank you again!

Absolutely wonderful home and stay here. The house was clean and cupboards were stocked with spices and essentials. We were left some homemade jam and coffee pods which were a huge plus. The beds were comfortable and the views of the valley are exceptional. We will be returning.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, un très bel accueil à notre arrivée de sa part. Antonio nous a donné de très bons conseils afin de visiter Porto et ses environs. je recommande !!

Het in 2015 gerenoveerde huis is voorzien van drie slaapkamers, 3,5 badkamer. Het was een prima accommodatie voor een verblijf van een week om Porto en omgeving te bekijken. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk, zeer warm. Het huis beschikt over een prachtig terras, een (onverwarmd) infinity pool met mooi uitzicht over de vallei en Duoro en beschikt over een (schone!) Weber BBQ. Veel privacy om met je gezelschap buiten te genieten. 15-20 Mbps internet voldoende om je digitaal voor te bereiden op een dagtrip. Ondanks dat de brandmeldinstallatie niet helemaal stabiel was, heeft de eigenaar er alles aan gedaan om dit tijdens ons verblijf te verbeteren. Voor een verblijf net buiten Porto met rust en ruimte is dit een prima locatie.

Ótimo estadia, tudo conforme a foto, infelizmente não conseguimos ficar mais dias, mais pretendo voltar.

I can’t thank Manu enough for her friendliness, hospitality and kindness. She is one of the nicest hosts I have been fortunate to meet. She helped us throughout our stay and was always available for advice and support. The accommodation itself is wonderfully spacious, secure and surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was a good base to explore Porto and surrounding areas, I would highly recommend. Many thanks 😊.

We stayed for four days at the residence of fransisco with a group of five young males. In advance of our arrival the contact with both fransisco and his wife went so smooth, they almost responded immediately. When we arrived at the residence we got an more than warm welcome, we were greeted by fransisco and his wife who gave us a tour and told us everything we wanted to know about the house and garden. Our stay was perfect, the pool was amazing and the temperature of the water was good, we played a lot of soccer in the garden or on the football pitch which could get a little warm when barefoot. Had a small inconvenience but we could solve this with the host almost immediately. In conclusion we had an excellent stay and loved the residence and would definitely recommend fransisco as a host and the residence as well!

Clare est une hôte merveilleuse. Nous avons logé à 3 endroits différents durant notre voyage au Portugal et sa villa est définitivement la plus propre et la plus confortable. On se sentait aussi bien qu’à la maison. Clare est soucieuse de notre confort et de notre bien-être. Elle nous répondait rapidement si nous avions à la contacter. Elle nous a organisé des activités pour découvrir Porto. Je suggère fortement que vous fassiez le tour de bateau sur le Douro et la visite de la Quinta da Raza. C’était tout simplement magnifique! Des bouteilles de vin en cadeau sur le comptoir ; des serviettes de bain et de piscine en quantité suffisante, du gel douche, shampooing et savon dans les douches ; du café et thé dans la cuisine ainsi que la base pour cuisiner (huile, vinaigre, sucre, sel et poivre) et du papier parchemin, d’aluminium, etc. Ce sont là de petites attentions qui font une énorme différences sur la qualité du séjour. Je recommande fortement. Un énorme merci à Clare, à bientôt!
