Holiday rentals with lake access in Gondomar

This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

Это наша лучшая остановка за время путешествия по Португалии. В доме есть все что нужно, внутри просто приятно находится. Мы ещё попали в момент когда в Португалии пропало электричество и связь - так хозяйка и её семья проявили нереальную заботу - и свечки принесли, и мангал разожгли и предлагали еду - ну такого классного "апокалипсиса" у нас никогда не было! Рекомендую однозначно!

Ola , was für ein Aufenthalt ! Kann besser nicht sein , Mena und Luis sind wirklich herzliche und freundliche Menschen. Immer erreichbar und jederzeit hilfsbereit :-) Zum Haus : die Lage ist schön ruhig , ganz nah am Strand und zur Lagune, in einer Sackgasse ( kein Durchgangsverkehr !! ) , mit herrlichen Wanderwegen. Im Haus ist es auch an kühlen Tagen gut , da es eine Heizung gibt :-). Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles , was man braucht ( es gab zur Begrüßung auch Obst, Tee, Wein , Brot und vieles mehr , vielen Dank) . Auch der Garten ums Haus macht Spaß; Die 2 Schlafzimmer ( 1x Kingsize mit Topper, und 1x 2 Einzelbetten mit festen Matratzen haben je ein eigenes Bad , das Wohnzimmer hat bequeme Möbel, TV( portug.) und Internet funktionieren gut. Der eigene Parkplatz am Haus ist auch super. Garten- und Strandmöbel runden alles ab; super super super ; Ganz lieben Dank nochmal an Mena und Luis :-)

Um verdadeiro pedaço de paraíso! 🌿✨ Desde o primeiro momento, sentimo-nos acolhidos como se estivéssemos em casa — mas com o encanto de um refúgio paradisíaco. O Diogo foi um anfitrião exemplar: sempre disponível, atencioso e genuinamente preocupado com o nosso bem-estar. A sua simpatia tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. O espaço é simplesmente deslumbrante, perfeito para descansar a mente e recarregar a alma. E como se não bastasse a natureza envolvente e a tranquilidade do lugar, tivemos visitas encantadoras: uns gatinhos adoráveis que apareceram de forma inesperada e conquistaram imediatamente os nossos corações. Foram uma mais-valia doce e carinhosa, que deu ainda mais vida à nossa estadia. Recomendamos de olhos fechados — e com o coração cheio.

Excelente para desligar do mundo por uns dias! As fotografias não fazem jus ao espaço e à qualidade do mesmo. Zona exterior muito agradável com vários espaços para relaxar, para além da piscina que estava muito limpinha, e o jacuzzi era maior do que o das fotos. Espaço bem limpo e com todas as comodidades necessárias. A Alice e o esposo foram super afáveis e acolhedores, muito obrigada

Děkujeme za krásný pobyt s nádherným výhledem do okolí. Klidné místo v přírodě. Odsud se krásně dostanete do Porta i na výlet vlakem podél řeky Douro. Rádi se sem zase vrátíme. :)

Logement conforme à la description dans un quartier paisible, les propriétaires sont à l’écoute et réactifs si besoin. Le seul point négatif c'est que l'on entend vers 7H du matin les chiens aboyer un court instant.

We absolutely loved our stay at Isabel's apartment in Porto! The location was perfect—right in the heart of Ribeira, just steps away from the Douro River, iconic bridges, and charming cafes. Waking up to the view of colorful houses and the river was unforgettable. The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—fast Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, and even some local treats waiting for us (thank you, Isabel!). The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure (a big plus after long days of exploring). Isabel was the perfect host—responsive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She gave us insider tips on the best pastel de nata spots, hidden miradouros (viewpoints), and even a fantastic fado bar that wasn’t touristy. If you’re visiting Porto and want an authentic, central, and delightful place to stay, don’t hesitate—book Isabel’s apartment! We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you

Isa’s condo was absolutely beautiful and so clean. The view from every window was stunning. We were able to walk easily to restaurants and shops. If we ever had a question, they were quick to respond. The beds were very comfortable. We could not have been happier. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Porto!

This was a nice place on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and everything we needed in the studio apartment. The restaurants in the area were delicious. If you want to be a little bit away from the Porto downtown this is a great option. We had a vehicle and were able to drive over to Porto in 20 minutes. This place is made up of more local people and culture. It was quiet and beautiful. Only 1 minute walk from the water.

We really enjoyed this stay in Porto. The location was fantastic and the host was great. Would highly recommend this home for any visitors to the beautiful city of Porto.

Cecilia est gentille, advenante et aidante dans nos différentes demandes. Nous avons apprécié la connaître. L’espace de vie est très grand, confortable, sécuritaire et silencieux. Un très grand parc naturel « Jardin du Palais de Cristal » a 5 minutes à pied. Situé proche de la rue des galeries d’art locales. A stunning apartment with a magical view of Porto and the ocean. Clean and spacious. There’s internet and streaming services on the TV for the child. Within a 10–30 minute walk in either direction along the beach, there are places with delicious food. There is some construction nearby, but the apartment itself is relatively quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We’d gladly come back if we have the chance.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in Luisa und Josés Apartment und haben es geliebt. sehr schöne große Wohnung mit einem wunderbaren Balkon zum Frühstücken. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. José hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit tollen Tipps rund um Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants versorgt. Zwischendurch hat er uns auf ein aktuelles Festival hingewiesen. In der Wohnung steht sogar ein Willkommenskorb mit ein paar Snacks, köstlichem Wein und Saft. Wir fanden es wunderbar, dass es so wie in den Anfängen von Airbnb noch Vermieter gibt, die einen persönlichen empfangen. Vielen Dank José!

This is a great place to stay. It has a great view and it is close to restaurants, a market, the Luis I bridge, etc. It has a patio where you can sit and have some wine while enjoying the sunset. Sónia was really responsive and will definetelly book her place for our next trip to Porto. Thanks for everything, we had a really good time!!!
