Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

This 2-bedroom (3 beds) 2 bath unit offers all the comforts of home including a full kitchen, dining area, game room, laundry room, covered patio and single-car garage. Outdoor parking is also available. Pullman Train Car at Rassawek

Our Pullman Car is one of 3 converted train cars available for rentals. The car was built by Pullman Co. in 1888. Guests staying in this car have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and our Lodge Cabin. Guests can also use the ponds on the property as well as the 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. The converted car has a living area, full kitchen, a bedroom with two double beds, a full bath with shower and a half bath.

The house sits on 30 acres of peaceful and private land, and in its immediate surroundings it has a nice patio with a fire pit and three grills, and a beautiful heated swimming pool that was also recently finished. The area is surrounded by nature, including a creek that runs through the property! It is also located 30 minutes away from Charlottesville (famous Monticello's location!)

Welcome to "The Home Stretch", a beautiful quiet place in the country just a few miles from Short Pump (which has great restaurants, Golf Courses, Drive Shack, wineries, Breweries. Our second floor apartment features a private entrance with all the things you may need while you are away from home. It has a spacious living area, eat in kitchen, queen bed and 2 trundle-like twin beds. We are on the premises but not in your space at all. Available day and night should you need anything.

You're more than welcome to access the swimming pool in the spring and summer time it will be closed in fall and winter. I have goats and chickens that you can walk up and pet. Along the woods are blackberries that bloom from june to July your more then welcome to pick them. I have dogs that stay in a fenced area will bring in for your privacy.
