Holiday rentals with a patio in Goodhue County

We stayed here for about 6 weeks for a job we had in Red Wing. Easy drive in and out. The place was well stocked and very clean. The only irritation we had was the parking and the bar next door. You never knew what the parking situation was going to be. And the bar could be loud on the weekends and very busy. Other than that, we would definitely recommend people staying here for long term jobs. Anthony was always responsive and very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay.

These hosts were amazing. I highly recommend. We ran into some issues, and they immediately jumped on the ball to help. Beautiful area, with lots of wooded acres. I couldn't get enough of the area. I wish we had more time to explore. Anthony was very responsive to message and was always working with you and your schedule. He kept giving great recommendations for the surrounding areas too.

An absolutely enchanting experience!!! Fabulous space, historic charm yet with every amenity you could possibly want. Decor is wonderful, many lovely touches (snacks, pristine linens, puzzles, games), cozy, bright and utterly spotless. Location is fantastic and the area is beautiful! Amazing parks and bike trails. Barbara is a fantastic host, super responsive, great communication! Could not have had a better or more memorable stay. Easily an all-time favorite AirBnB. You can stop looking, you won’t find better in Cannon Falls!

Great location coupled with fantastic accommodations. Very clean, awesome kitchen, nice patio. Very home like. Everything you need is provided for a weekend or week long stay.

David and Suzette’s place was wonderful all the way around. We were there for a ladies golf trip, so having the house right on the golf course was so convenient. Very relaxing having cocktails in the sun room and out on the deck facing the golf course. It was fun to look for the gray squirrel with the white tail every day. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The towels in the bathrooms were high quality and very luxurious as was the bedding. Bottom line - we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Patricia’s place was perfect for our group! Three very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We especially enjoyed outdoor family meals in the lovely private backyard to start and end our days. Other highlights include lounging in the backyard, gathering around the fire pit, sitting in the beautiful outdoor sauna, and enjoying a movie in the living room. The area is very walkable to downtown shops, coffee and ice cream. There are several casual restaurants but we opted to cook. The fishing was also great on lake pepin and Patricia’s back patio was equipped with a gas grill which was perfect for our fish dinner. We will definitely return to Lake City and welcome the opportunity for future rentals at Patricia’s lake house. Her place is top notch and one of the nicest rentals we have stayed in for our summer family trips!

The view was outstanding and the host was great: very responsive, great with "housewarming" provisions, etc. The accomodations were comfortable for our 3-generation group of 10. The driveway was a bit scary (but that comes with the view!). For us it seemed like off-season, and so the prices seemed a bit high, but for all those ice-fisherman (we had no idea that it would still be going strong), I suppose it was still high season. Two of our group managed to get out for a run 2 out of the 3 mornings we were there. But be aware there is no shoulder on the highway right at the house. We enjoyed the shops that were open in the town of Stockholm, and walking out on the river/lake there. We also enjoyed a hike up at Maiden Rock bluff trail.

Great stay, and a short walk to downtown. Had a problem with the gas grill, and Jordan bought a very nice new grill right away and came over and set it up! Wonderful service and a wonderful place.

Great cabin and location! It had everything we needed for a party of 9! Rochester was super close to us as well in case we wanted to do something else. Jason was super communicative and prompt with responses. Thank you!

Beautiful view of the lake. Quiet street. The kitchen is well-stocked with quality appliances, dishes, utensils and cookware. Overall great stay.

Our condo was very clean, and exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We especially loved the view of the lake and enjoyed the rooftop common area with a gas fire pit!

We have been to Lake City several times as we have family there and we’re in town for a funeral. Great River Flats is relatively new so everything was clean and updated. Had all the supplies you would need. The only thing we found odd was that they provided paper towels and toilet paper but no tissues. Not a huge inconvenience but strange. You cannot go wrong staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay in late March. Great views of Lake Pepin and the sunrise over the bluffs. Saw a number of bald eagles soaring past on the waterline. The unit is in great shape -- very new, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-appointed. The building seemed mostly empty and Lake City was very quiet -- much busier during the summer I imagine! Note that there is a busy road between the unit and the lake/river. Easy to cross and the noise was not too bad, just something to be aware of, especially if you're expecting peace and quiet while sitting out on the balcony. Hiking in nearby Frontenac State Park was fantastic! The National Eagle Center to the south is worth a visit too. Also, try the Nelson Creamery on the Wisconsin side! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here.

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here! The location is absolutely stunning! The views of the water were perfect! The home is spacious, updated, and comfortable! So much light! The floor to ceiling windows make you never want to leave. Good local, very family oriented restaurants and shops in the area, most of which were walking distance or a very short drive. I felt safe, comfortable, and at peace here. I travel often and use hotels, airbnb, and other lodging options and this is sitting near the top of my list of locations to stay! 100% recommend booking at the flats!

We had a great stay! The condo matched the description perfectly. Something to note - the bunk beds don’t feel the most solid but our kids did fine on them for one night. The couch isn’t the most comfy since it’s a sleeper sofa. Also, while we had everything we needed for one night in the kitchen, it is very bare bones in terms of what was available for kitchen items. We would stay again if it’s a shorter visit!

Our stay at the Great River Flats on Pedin Lake was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, with stunning views of the lake that we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty all around us. We also loved how close (walking distance) we were to amazing restaurants and wineries — every meal was incredible, and the local wine selections were top-notch. Whether we were sipping a glass of wine by the water or exploring the nearby food scene, every moment felt special. We will return and stay here! Lake City is a hidden gem!

We loved the view and the large comfortable patio. The space was large and roomy. The furniture was cozy. Besides the busy street below, the building was very quiet. The beds were great - which says alot coming from 2 of us who have significant back injuries. Everything was clean. Instructions from the host were proactive and responses where prompt. Would return!

Absolutely would not hesitate to return! Loved the sunrises on the patio, comfortable bed and pillows, and very spacious. Worth knowing for your stay: I’d say the kitchen has your essentials for cooking, but no extras like foil, ziplock, coffee, seasonings, etc so be prepared if you plan your cook. The lighting is pretty much all or none. With no lamps in the living room area, I pulled out one from the bedroom during our stay so we didn’t have to have the bright lights on. The garage and parking lot is narrow. If you have a large SUV or truck, it will be could be difficult to get in and out of. For reference, we have a VW Atlas and it was tight getting in/out of garage. More positives: Nice touch having a cozy blanket available to use. The rooftop area is wonderful and you can’t beat the view.
