In the village you will find several nice shops and restaurants with terrace. On Saturday there is a market. Naarden Bussum train station is 2.5km from the Fortress. Reachable by bus 110 and at the station you can rent public transportation bicycles. Within 1 kilometer there is a large supermarket the Albert Hein.
