House holiday rentals in Goolwa

We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. My daughters and I felt right at home, and even our dog, Loki, had the best time exploring the yard and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some quality time together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family- and pet-friendly getaway!

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Las Viñas. Paula was a great host, the house was easy to find, easy to get into, and beautifully clean when we arrived. Plenty of space for a large family, or for multiple adults. Walkable to town, and to some of the best wineries Australia has to offer. It was a great few days, and we will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home—it was the perfect Easter getaway for our family. The house itself is stunning, with breathtaking sea views that we enjoyed even during the wild, rainy weather. It was incredibly cozy, and we felt right at home. We shared a memorable Easter lunch overlooking the ocean, and to our kids' delight, the Easter Bunny even managed to find us! Between beach walks, relaxing indoors, and venturing out to the fantastic local coffee spots, we made the most of every moment. The Aldinga Surf Club is always a favourite of ours, and the nearby Willunga Farmers Market provided excellent fresh produce and meats as always—we’re long-time supporters and know it well. Everything about the stay was so relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a beautiful space—it made our family holiday really special. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great Easter getaway at Sarah's place. Great for a group getaway, a lot of time spent in the pool and spa! Easy to access the beach and a delish meal at The Victory nearby. Kitchen / the house had everything we needed.

What can I say, the minute we walked in we felt a wave of relaxation come over us. The property is situated in a beautiful part of South Australia, surrounded by farms and rolling hills, while being 20mins to the coast. The house sits on a slight hill allowing for views across farmland and beyond, while also providing spectacular sunrises. The house was huge, and very clean, with lots of room for our family to spread out and chill without being in each other’s way. The heated pool was also a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. It has everything you need to unwind and just enjoy. Mario was a fantastic host and was very accommodating to our needs, ensuring we had everything to make this stay 5 stars.

We had a fantastic holiday at Surfrider Lodge, regardless of it being during winter there was still so much to do and to keep ourselves busy with. We loved the beautiful warm spa that even on the cold evenings was so warm, comfortable and relaxing. The games room provides so much entertainment and fun family times for everyone. My son loved the outdoor swing and trampoline, he spent time outside enjoying these every day we were there. The house was well equipped and everything we needed was supplied. Kylie was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking Surfrider Lodge, we loved our time here and look forward to returning in the future.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! The photos did not do the place justice. We spent two nights with our two children and our friends and their child. I was worried it may be too small for us all but we stepped inside and we're amazed by the space with two separate living areas. The house has been so beautifully furnished. The beds were comfier than our own and every piece of furniture was stylish and homely. The showers were big rain style showers and the kids loved the big bath. The central heating kept us cosy while it was raining and windy outside and the outdoor space with the firepit was so lovely when we finally got a spot of sun. The location was great as it was close to town but still peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Highly recommended! Thanks again! :-)

The home was gorgeous! So well decorated and cosy. Thanks for allowing our little fur baby too - he enjoyed it. Went to Murray Mouth Cafe and Wharf Markets. Impressed you even had champagne glasses!

We really enjoyed our time at Greensview, it was perfect for our golfing holiday to Goolwa. The house was extremely spacious and light filled. The kitchen was well equipped with heaps of crockery and cutlery making catering for ourselves easy. Although we were a group of 6 the property would suit larger groups with 2 sitting areas and a large dining table. The outside deck was spacious with lovely views over the golf course.. There was plenty of car parking. We would definitely book again.

We felt right at home straight away, lovely set-up with everything that you need to have a home away from home. enjoyed relaxing in the bath and the electronic bed - fantastic. the outdoor area was relaxing, enjoyed reading a book. Great location in Goolwa, walkable to main street. Has Hays St Bar & Kitchen very close and worth going to have a meal. Also, recommend the Thí restaurant in the main street. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

Just right beside the famous port Elliot bakery! Walkable to beach. We did a relax evening walk to the beach from the house. Clear instruction from the owner on check in and out. BIG thumbs up for the house, was so amazing. 🤩!

Had a fantastic stay in Goolwa with my sisters while we were in town for a family event. The house was absolutely spot on — perfect for a group, with plenty of shared spaces to catch up and relax, but also enough room for each of us to have our own space and privacy. The unexpected delivery of firewood was a lovely surprise — such a thoughtful touch that made our evenings by the fire extra cosy. 🤩 The home was well stocked with all the basic amenities you’d need for a comfortable and easy stay. Everything was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully set up. Communication from the host was excellent — clear, prompt, and the instructions were easy to follow, which made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Goolwa. It was the perfect base for a relaxing, hassle-free trip — we’d happily stay again!

We really enjoyed this beautiful and tranquil home. So spacious and great for families, our little one and fur child thoroughly enjoyed this place too! The beds were cosy and the living space was lovely to relax in. Highlights were the view of the dunes and waking up to the sound of the ocean.

Our stay in Gemmels was among the best we’ve had. Absolutely stunning surroundings, everything you could need, a beautiful outdoor bath, and cosy, comfy, and warm interiors that made our winter weekend perfect. It really was an awesome two-night getaway that made us feel like we were gone for a week. And Natalie was an awesome and very responsive host. Highly recommend!

Perfect home to spend a long weekend with my children and Grandchildren. Plenty of room, outside area and with young children an enclosed yard for them to play. The shed with a tabletennis table, bikes, and other games was a big hit for the kids. It was a cold wet weekend but between the rain we were able to visit local towns in the area. A trip on the Cockle train is a must. I would definitely recommend David's place for a weekend away or longer if you can.

This was the perfect place to relax. Beautiful views and an aesthetically pleasing home. Beds were comfy and I adored the seating that was perfect to curl up and read a book in. I have recommended the Sunflower Cottage to friends and family and will be returning to stay in the future!

Lianne has thought of everything to make a holiday house comfortable and practical. Lovely outdoor areas to sit and relax and for the kids to play. The undercover outdoor area is private enough to sit out with a coffee in the morning in your PJs. The two toilets were very handy for a larger family or group. The property is beautifully renovated and maintained and the kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal or use the pizza oven outside, with handy extras in the pantry like oil, salt and pepper, glad wrap, foil cooking trays etc available. The house would also lend itself to longer stays, with plenty of parking and a full laundry. The house is a short walking distance to the river and the nature play space for children and it is also easy to ride a bike as it is very flat, even for little kids! Highly recommend. My three year old is already asking when we can go back!

Jim & Sue’s place is everything you could ask for and more…clean, tastefully furnished and with loads of family friendly options for fun! We loved the games room, and outdoor bbq area, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We’d definitely stay again!!
