Nice cottage with wood stove, fireplace and proximity to nature

Welcome to my cabin in Gopshus! This is where you go to lower your heart rate. The cottage is located at the end of a promontory by Lake Spjutmosjön and the view from the kitchen window is something very special. It was built in the 1950s and renovated in 2008 (not the bathroom). In the kitchen you have to challenge yourself in cooking on the wood stove, which is not so difficult if you think about baking and soufflés where exact temperatures are necessary. 🙂 In the living room, there is a fireplace and sofa bed for two. Possibility of extra beds are available.

Relax with the whole family in them peaceful cottage. Stay with pets close to nature right next to the Vasaloppssrack. Nice sights and nature forest adventures in lovely nature. Gopshus is located just north of Mora, next to mountains and nice swimming lakes. Dining area is available both indoors, outdoors and in the glass house. The bedrooms are comfortably distributed with 1 double bed and 2 separate beds in the big house and another 1 bunk bed in separate guest house with kitchen and toilet. The cottage is equipped with sauna, wifi & electric car charger.

Price not included in regular rent. Although the house is located in the nice and quiet area, it is only 5 minutes to the hospital and 8 minutes to the shopping center.

Older house in a village environment with proximity to the ski resort in Orsa Grönklitt, with the possibility of cross-country skiing and slalom. In the vicinity of the house there is also the possibility of nice forest walks and runs and bathing at Våmåbadet and the strawberry place Ätjärn. Mora is about 15 km from the property and there are opportunities for shopping and visiting the Zorn Museum and Vasaloppsmålet. The landlord lives in the house next door. Cleaning is done by the guest.

Great views of Orsa lake, mountains, fields and meadows. Our wonderful garden with apple trees, raspberries, flowers, etc. Here you can rest and charge your batteries. It is about 3 km to Orsa city center . Rich bird life. 20 min. to Grönklitt. Orsasjön with long-distance skating and ski tracks. 15 km to Mora and Vasaloppet.

I spent a weekend in the cottage with my two children for a football cup in the area, we also had time for a visit to Leksand summerland. The cottage was inviting, everything was clean and nice, freshly picked flowers on the table and beds made when we arrived. Well-equipped kitchen. Fantastic location right by the water and the veranda under the roof that faced the lake was a favorite. We felt welcome and the host Maria was easy to communicate with. We are very pleased and can highly recommend the accommodation, we will gladly return!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, very clean, and fully prepared. It was as beautiful as a museum — you didn’t want to miss a single detail of the decorations. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. When we needed to grill, they generously let us use their grill area and outdoor furniture. It made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely love to come back to Älvdalen — and now we know exactly where to stay next time!
