Holiday rentals with lake access in Gordhan Vilas Rural

Overall the stay was awesome for me and my kids! The property looks exactly like the picture, a well maintained spacious 2 bhk villa with garden. The best part was the behavior of the owner who was very helpful and responsive although he lives away from the property. The property is located near a famous sports complex, SBS sports arena, which can be used as a landmark to reach there. While staying at this property, you can enjoy stargazing, go for a morning walk, enjoy sunrise at nearby lake. All this away from the hustle of the city, noise, population and pollution as the property is located at the start of a small village. Visiting with a private vehicle is recommended in case you need to step out often. Please do not expect hotel like vibe as it's a home away from home and one has to travel about 2km for necessary amenities. I travelled in my car so used to have dinner outside or have a takeaway dinner and there is option of delivery by food apps also.

we stayed at khudala house over new year and it was perfect. close enough to the main part of town to be walkable to the main attractions and lakesides (20 mins) and easy to get an auto rickshaw (5 mins). the three rooms are very large and comfortable, each with ensuite and plenty of hot water. breakfast is served at your preference in a separate dining area (inside or outside) that is private to us, along with an outdoor sitting area and garden - we didn't use because it was quite cool in the evening. dhananjai was lovely, instantly responded to any requests and was generous with advice of where to go, and is generally a cool guy and traveller. didn't get to use the restaurant also owned by the family but it looked wonderful. would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Tarun is an exceptional host who ensured our arrival was seamless by providing clear communication and a warm welcome. From the moment we stepped in, we felt at home. The house is beautifully maintained and spacious, with three comfortable rooms, a hallway with dining , two bathrooms, seprate washroom and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you could need. Additional touches like high-speed WiFi, a smart TV, a running geyser for hot water, cozy blankets, fine linen, and parking area make this place a great deal for families or larger groups. Tarun went above and beyond during our stay. He not only suggested fantastic places to visit but also helped us refine our itinerary, saving us valuable time. To top it off, he treated us to delicious poha and tea the next morning, adding a personal touch that truly made this place feel like home. Ranveer and his family were wonderful hosts. We were a group of 6 and all had private rooms with ensuite’s. it was right in the heart of the most beautiful part of Udaipur and walking distance to everything. Highly recommend to fellow travellers

Vijaya's Red Suite is a piece of peace away from the bustle of Udaipur's busy streets. Though very close to Chetak Circle and the Old City, Vijaya's suites sit on a quiet road with garden access replete with the sounds of birds in the evenings and mornings. The women who help her run the place, particularly Raj, are delightful and wonderful hosts in their own right. I was traveling with family, including young children, and when we unfortunately fell ill, we were well-looked after. I lived in Udaipur almost twenty-five years ago and appreciated feeling so at home in the city once again - an experience that Vijaya's place afforded. I highly recommend her accommodations - make sure to enjoy the terraces.
