Holiday houses in Gorgoglione

Our first time using an Air BnB. We were delighted with our experience. Our host was nothing short of brilliant, lots of helpful tips along with advice on local area restaurants. You do need a car to be honest & there's a decent secure parking spot inside the grounds of the property. We arrived late at night & Salvatore was there to greet us with a smile. We were exhausted & just went to bed. Next morning was a joy to wake in such splendid surroundings. So clean, cool & homely. The pool, not heated but not a big deal due to the heat in summer, the jacuzzi bath & separate turkish shower room are all adding to the level of comfort. It's a good place for 2 people & maybe 1 or 2 kids on the pull out bed. We enjoyed a movie night on the big screen that was fun. As our first experience of Air BnB , this was excellent. Very well done.

It’s a gem, this appartment. Quiet with a fabulous roofterrace and in about 30 Minutes you are in Matera. Owners are quick responders and gave us usefull (diner)suggestions.

Domenico Place all that was promised and more Beautiful surroundings

Everything was excellent! Francisca and her husband were very kind, and he helped us park and carry the suitcases. The accommodation was beautiful, and they really welcomed us like we were at home. We stayed one night and had dinner right there at the Restó Arcimboldi, first-class food, when we asked to eat local food they prepared a snack with local products and also a special pizza with delicious pecorino, everything was a luxury! very grateful!

Every word would be superfluous to describe Marco's availability and kindness, a rare level of hospitality and when we needed it, he was immediately ready to help us, much more than he was in his duty. Not to mention the location, basically it's a simple country house, then you go out, sit at the table under the gazebo in the garden and it is here that you understand what is special about this place. You can enjoy a breathtaking view that on one side overlooks the valley that then leads to the nearby village of Corleto Perticara, on the other expanses of woods and mountains What can I say, if you're looking for some peace, a few days away from the daily stress, this is the place for you. Spectacular views from this Airbnb, especially at night on the balcony. I really enjoyed my stay at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s place. The kitchen was very useful because a lot of the restaurants were all booked during the weekend I visited Castelmezzano. Parking was challenging. But Pierfeancesco provided detailed instructions and a video. There are a lot of steps to climb in Castelmezzano to get to this Airbnb, so I recommend you find the place first and then bring your heavy luggage on a 2nd trip. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience staying at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s Airbnb. I definitely strongly recommend.

The special location of the house above the sea and the large terrace are more beautiful than can be conveyed in any picture. House and kitchen are very well equipped, cooking and enjoying on the terrace was a great pleasure. The entire property, but also the region, is a green oasis. The house was built and furnished for private use, the history of the owners gives it a very personal atmosphere, a beautiful enrichment for us. Nicolo was available for questions at any time, his assistant quickly on site, if necessary. Down in Scario, there is a well-equipped supermarket and some restaurants, the promenade and harbor are quiet and tranquil, a small bay invites you to swim, the nature reserve behind the house to hike.

We were guests of Claudio and Giuseppina for only one night, but we had a really great time, everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived at the property to when we left, the welcome was excellent, Giuseppina also gave us information on things to visit in the surroundings, she showed us everything that was available in the house and was extremely helpful for any need (for the breakfast the next day she asked us what we wanted and since I am celiac she prepared a really good gluten-free apple cake); The apartment was as in the photos, clean, tidy, spacious and really well maintained, there was every kind of appliance that could also be used for a longer stay, in fact as soon as possible we will definitely return for a longer period, perhaps in the winter period.
