The vacation home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the ice house of the manor. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, a canoe, a rowboat, a stand-up paddle as well as a table tennis table and badminton can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

Towels and linens are provided, as well as satellite TV and W LAN. A free parking space is available for free use. It is 20 meters to Müritz, a swimming spot is there. It's a 5-minute walk to the city harbor, downtown and the national park entrance.

Our cottage is located on the northern shore of the Plauer See, with direct access to the lake. Cycling and hiking routes lead along the lake. The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. Nearest place is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with bakery, restaurants and a boat dock for steamer rides, which can also be easily explored by bike.
