Tiny Canal House in Historic Gouda

Ons kleine grachtenpand ligt op een steenworp afstand van het historische stadhuis, het museum en de Sint-Janskerk, wereldberoemd om zijn glas-in-loodramen. Het aanzicht van het huis dateert uit eind 18e eeuw. En binnen zijn oudere elementen uit de beginperiode (1390) van het huis te zien. Gouda heeft een station en is centraal gelegen tussen Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft en Utrecht. De steden zijn aan te raden voor een dagtrip en goed te bereiken per trein. Ook bent u snel in Amsterdam.

Bakhuisje aan de Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

In het hart van Gouda en in de eerste Fairtrade winkelstraat van Nederland vind je ons pittoreske en authentieke huisje. Van alle gemakken voorzien met een fijne (gedeelde) stadstuin. Loop het beroemde poortje uit en verken het mooie Gouda! Baartje SandersErf is de broer van Bed&Baartje en zijn naast elkaar gelegen in het hofje.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The bustling center of Gouda with the beautiful town hall on the Markt is a 7-minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and cafes are right around the corner. The cheese market is in the summer on Thursdays. There is also a festival site. Gouda is a quiet town, but you won't find total silence here. The station with direct connections to Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam is a 15-minute walk away.

Het Suikerpandje - For cozy overnight stays

In one of the picturesque alleys in the centre of Gouda you will find Het Suikerpandje, a former warehouse for sugar. On the 1st floor, under the authentic wooden "dormer", there are 2 attractive guest rooms. Both rooms have their own bathrooms. There is a cosy, intimate living room with kitchenette. There is a fridge, egg cooker and toaster, so you can make your own breakfast. Through the French doors, you enter a nice, sunny place where it is wonderful to spend time.

From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you look at the Cabauwse mill and if you are lucky breed the stork across the street. This centrally located apartment is located in the middle of the historic center of Bodegraven. A cozy bustling village center that is equipped with every comfort. Think nice restaurants and a hip coffee bar. The central station is a stone's throw away. This will take you quickly to Leiden, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. These cities are also easily accessible by car.

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek & Bloem who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.
