Our family stay at this magical country home was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a more peaceful world. The setting is breathtaking—peaceful, serene, and nestled into the edge of the Serra da Estrella mountains. Every detail of the property is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy and enchanting atmosphere. The host was absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. It was a joy & a privilege to spend several nights in this comfortable & beautifully restored heritage home. The kitchen was the most functional & well equipped one we’ve experienced during our month in Portugal. Access to the historic garden was a definite bonus. Beatrix & her family were most welcoming while Beatrix’s knowledge of the area helped to make our visit most memorable. We would definitely return.

The house is quiet, in good condition, clean and cozy. There is a terrace on the second floor with a good view, there is also an exit to its territory with a grill. Very quiet and cozy place, 3 minutes drive to supermarkets. Of the disadvantages - in the winter the house is cold and for someone this may be a problem, but it did not bother me.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house is exactly what we were hoping for, a peaceful escape with charming architecture in a gorgeous area. We spent each day exploring the surrounding villages and nature of Serra da Estrella, and then spent the nights relaxing by the cozy fireplace. The gardens surrounding the house are also beautiful and very nice to explore. Each morning there was a delicious breakfast which was a great way to start the day. Margarida is an incredible host. She is so friendly, quick to communicate, and prepared lots of local recommendations for us. We hope we can come back and stay here again, it’s the type of Airbnb experience that you dream of!
