Our family stay at this magical country home was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a more peaceful world. The setting is breathtaking—peaceful, serene, and nestled into the edge of the Serra da Estrella mountains. Every detail of the property is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy and enchanting atmosphere. The host was absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They went above and beyond!

Our stay at Telmo's place was great. The house is beautiful, comfortable, very bright and functional. Beds are spacious and comfortable. There is enough space to store your clothes and suitcases. Like Spaniards, maybe we missed a few blinds. In the morning when the sun rose, there was a lot of light in the room right away. Toilets are large and showers are comfortable. The kitchen has everything and we were able to enjoy the BBQ. We also light the fireplace. We felt very comfortable and are planning to return very soon. Telmo has always been very attentive and looking to help us with everything. Thank you for everything

Very pleasant stay; very good welcome from Viriato and her mother , welcome gifts with good jam , local cheese. House with pool, secluded in the hills , quiet with views of the mountains . Ideal for the dog! Very satisfied.

Staying here was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had thru Airbnb. The farm is beautiful and private. We’re lucky to have the whole place for us and phenomenal weather. The chalé we stayed at was wonderful and surroundings were perfect to watch the sunset over the faraway mountains. Just paradise. We had some trouble with our car when leaving and asked for help to Mrs. Conceição. She promptly had someone from the farm, Mrs Teresa and Mr Antonio, who help us out and solved our problem. Awesome people all around. Loved it and I recommend it.

We really liked the house, so much so that we thought about coming back in the summer 😊 The location is great, in the center of the village. It's 20 minutes from the Tower, one of the places we wanted to visit. Hosts are communicative and gave good recommendations for the area.

We had a very nice stay at the appartment. The view from the appartment is great. The balcony had shade at the end of the day. The tourist office nextdoor has information about walking routes.

This beautiful special house its all what we needed in our days in Serra de Estrela. Maria so mice and worm. you can feel she really care from you. the kitchen is so nice, the rooms are cozy. we were 3 friends and we had so much space. thank you for everything it was so hard to leave the house. we spent there 4 nights and it wasn't a nought. thank you house thank you Maria!!

João was fantastic, he welcomed us very well, had the kindness of coming to pick us up to butts to take us to the house still left us with some treats from the Serra da Estrela and the fireplace accesses. The village had a lot of patience to explain to us the history of Manteigas and indicated quite a few places. The location of the house is something really stunning, there are no words. The beauty of portugal is in this house. The rooms are spectacular, or rather the suites, as they all have bathrooms. Amazing, I want to come back! Thank you very much, João!

An old and charming country house. Clean in a special way. The house is heated by a wood-burning fireplace. You should ask for the stove to be turned on at least half a day before arrival, otherwise the house is cold.

What a charming place! Even more beautiful than in the photographs, we were very surprised. When we got to the house it was warm, they were careful to turn on the heaters before our arrival. As our visit was in order to enjoy the snow, you can imagine the cold that was! We were a family of 8 people and there was enough space for all of us. It has all the necessary utensils to spend a few days. As well as towels and many extra blankets. I can only point out that they could have been more careful with the cleaning, one of the toilets was dirty and there was some dirt behind the couch. For bathing it is a little difficult to regulate the temperature and has little pressure. But excepting everything perfect anyway. Thank you very much We recommend 100% and when we come back to play in the snow we will stay again at the cabbage house!

The accommodation is excellent! Big house, spectacular heating and accommodates 17 people very well. Excellent welcome from host. As the only two negative points for a stay with multiple guests, I highlight the hot water in the shower, which lasts little and the small number of cooking utensils, such as pots and pans.

Very comfortable and cozy house and very well equipped. Fantastic for a family vacation. We have already been twice in the winter and we love the house, always warm and the fireplace is great! Carina is a great host and all communication with her is always simple and easy!

We spent a wonderful weekend, the house is great for large groups. It offers great amenities! When we arrived we had waiting for a lit fireplace and a super cozy house. Not to mention the Dona Alcina who received us with a contagious smile and full of local recommendations to give. No doubt we would return! Joana was also an excellent host! Very careful and quite available.
