We had a wonderful stay at Luiza’s beautiful Ipanema apartment! 🌴✨ The space is exactly as shown in the photos—light, stylish, and incredibly peaceful, just a stone’s throw from the beach and close to great bars and restaurants. Luiza was an exceptional host—friendly, communicative, and very accommodating. We arrived a couple of hours early, and she kindly let us drop off our bags so we could start exploring straight away. She also gave us fantastic local recommendations that really added to our Rio experience. We’d definitely love to stay here again—thank you, Luiza, for making our time in Rio so memorable! 🌊🌞

Honestly completely loved Henry's place! Getting inside was a bit sketchy at first but very easy. Once inside, the place was fantastic, the views in person from the terrace was honestly amazing, the pictures on the listing don't do it justice! I'll be booking again for sure when back in Rio. The place inside was very clean. It is inside a pacified favela so seeing armed men is very common, I didn't mind at all as they mind their own business. I was walking back to the airbnb at 2-3am and never felt in danger( My girlfriend and I were dressed very nice, however, out of precaution, didn't have any jewelry displaying). I will say that if your not a fan of a little adventure, it might not be for you, in my opinion it was a great and fun experience and provided me with a completely different experience of Rio. Henry was also very accommodating and catered to our itinerary, we will absolutely be coming back! Thanks Henry and Yuri!

The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable. Very well equipped, everything you need during your stay is available. The neighborhood is very quiet and full of nature. The beach is spectacular. The hosts were great, check-in was super flexible and so was check-out, our flight was delayed a few hours on our return and we were able to stay without any problems. Thank you Tathi for everything!! Excellent recommendations for places to have breakfast :D I would definitely go back. If you consider that it is far from everything. It's what we were looking for: peace of mind and security. But for some, it may be far away. You have to get around by car or taxi. We love that feature.

We love Leon's loft! Super Comfort, a great location and easy to access. We feel super safe at all times, close to the place there is a place to have lunch, to buy some basic things and it is all very friendly! As it stands in a higher place, we chose to always climb a motorcycle taxi that was calm and fast. We had an unforeseen event with the shower and Leon, and André who is co-host were super helpful and helped us with everything. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Paulo's place! The space was spotless, cozy, and even better than described in the listing. Check-in was smooth and communication was prompt and helpful throughout. The neighborhood was peaceful and conveniently located near a variety of shops & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Danilo is an actively responsive host. Check-in was seamlessly integrated; Given I had an early flight arrival, accommodations were made behooving my friend and I. The location is in the heart of Copacabana. For any excursions I booked, the air bnb was always inside the pickup zone, enabling transportation to pick us up and drop us off right outside the door. Restaurants along the beach side are within walking distance. Face recognition access allowed easy access in and out of the building. The building provides 24/7 building security, all visitors must be registered with the host at least 3 hours in advance, including full name and ID number. Otherwise, they won’t be allowed to enter the building. The pool is roughly around 4 1/2 feet deep. Overall I would return, Danilo kept contact throughout my stay as well as the front desk offering assistance as needed.

I had an exceptional stay at Leo's. The accommodation is beautiful, even better than in the photos: clean, functional, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and you feel really good there. The same goes for the location: The atmosphere of the favela is calm and very pleasant, I felt safe and comfortable from start to finish. But what makes the experience even more special is Leo himself: a host of great kindness and generosity. He picked me up on arrival, helped me a lot with all my things, and throughout the stay, he was very available, accommodating, caring and gave good advice. He made excellent recommendations to me, and I am very grateful to him! I have been traveling in Brazil for a month and a half, regularly changing accommodation, and this is by far the best. If I could have stayed longer, I would have done it without hesitation! A big thank you again to Leo for his welcome and kindness!

We were very comfortable. Polite doormen, garage available for our car. The apartment is excellent for 1 couple. Great places to eat nearby. Quiet and wooded neighborhood. I highly recommend it. Paulo is extremely kind and understanding, as well as flexible. The amount paid was worth every penny. Thank you Paulo. Success and we are already thinking about coming back.

The best Airbnb I have ever been. Couldn’t ask for more, felt like home.

The space is exactly as in the pictures, beautiful and airy, the building next to it continues and annoys a little. The location is very good. Metro, restaurants and safe beach (check the days that is ideal for bathing) all well, and a few minutes walk from the lapa. Overall, it was a perfect accommodation, very comfortable and well located.

Priscila was the perfect host and deserves more than five stars for being very responsive, friendly and thoughtful. The promptness and quality of her communications puts the five star hotels we have stayed in during this trip to shame. The location is peaceful and very secure and there is a private, first-line view of the beach and sea beyond from the balcony. It’s easy to get around the area, or to and from Rio, using a well known online ride service - but if you have hired a car, the parking is on-site and covered. A little far to walk to most places if like me you are past your prime but that makes it more peaceful and secure while you are here. A great way to finish our travels, very highly recommended.

We stayed at this Airbnb and the experience was amazing! The space is super cozy, modern, well decorated and everything was impeccably clean and working perfectly. The location is excellent — close to the beach, with great options for bars and restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back and we are already looking at new dates to book!

Mônica and her son Vinicius were great hosts, very responsive and helpful. Check-in was smooth, the residential building felt safe, and the neighborhood has a great local vibe. The apartment's highlight is definitely the terrace with incredible views over Botafogo, Sugarloaf, and Christ. Having the jacuzzi and enjoying the sunset with a view was also nice. The kitchen worked well, but could use a few more appliances, and the bed and sofa are not the most comfortable, so keep in mind if that's important to you. Other than that, this place is perfect for a week-long stay!

I felt at home! Complete and extremely elegant apartment. I highly recommend it and whenever I go to Rio it will be my first choice.

Wow, this place was heavenly! Truly a respite inside the city with such unique and beautiful design. The pool was so special to have and the beds extremely comfortable. The outdoor showers just pushed it over the top, we loved our stay so much! One thing to note is that this place is not self check in/ out. You are dependent on meeting up with someone at a specified time to get access into the home or to leave the keys at the end of your stay. I wasn’t sent any check out instructions proactively and had to reach out to ask what to do with the keys / how to leave the place. Other important notes is that there is no grocery store any where in the vicinity. We got by with what we could find at convenience stores but I would strongly recommend coming with food. Lastly the hill up to the house is super steep so you’ll get your exercise but the restaurant Bonde Boca down the hill is SO worth it! We went twice!

Maria's Departamento, more than an Airbnb is a home. Location: 10/10 In front of the beach and Posto 1. Safe street, well lit at night. A few blocks from the Rua Olegário Maciel, where are all the restaurants, supermarkets, etc. It is ideal for walking at night. Building/condominium: it has security and gym 24/7, the employees are very friendly, pool and jacuzzi, everything works well. Apartment: It is very comfortable, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, impeccable kitchen full of cooking utensils m. The beds/pillows/sheets/towels all in good order. The most amazing thing about this apartment is sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves, it's magical. Hostess: It is undoubtedly a value added to the apartment, the sweet and warm of Maria! Very attentive she welcomed us with chocolates and coffee and always available on whatsap. Maria: we spent some incredible days in your apartment thank you for your love and we hope to be back soon! We would definitely choose you again!

The apartment is amazing, better than the pictures. Very large and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We like to cook and we loved doing it at this place because of the convenience and the variety of utensils available, from wine glasses to lots of pans and cutlery. The view is unparalleled, with the beach and the sea in every room. Dora was an excellent host, attentive, friendly and respectful. The apartment is full of practical and tasteful details. We strongly recommend.

We had a great stay! The host was very attentive and detailed in the information, as well as very flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which was essential since we were coming straight from abroad to visit our relatives. The apartment is small but cozy, ideal for a comfortable stay. All necessary utensils were available, although some dishes and pots already show signs of prolonged use and could be replaced. Communication with Luiz was always quick and clear. We already knew the condominium from other visits to Brazil and, of course, we will stay here again. We recommend it!

The apartment is perfect for resting. Full kitchen, with washing machine and an impeccable view! Easy access to the beach and indoor pool. Pedro is very friendly and made himself available all the time. I highly recommend it!
