Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Grand Baie

Kavita, Priscille and Usha were very nice, helped us finding our way to restaurants and other things in the neighbourhood. Very clean and looked after location directly at a small beach. Restaurants at walking distance. Very nice house!

nice accommodation. the only downside the road dangerous enough to go out and the beach difficult to walk because no sidewalk to go to the beach of the bowl.

We had a wonderful stay and can only highly recommend this Airbnb! Jessica gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to show us around the house, which made us feel at home right away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The pool area was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking during your stay. We especially appreciated the excellent cleaning service during our longer visit – everything was kept spotless and in perfect order. Tip for future guests: Definitely take the advice about renting a car seriously. You’ll absolutely need one to make the most of your stay and explore the area comfortably. We had a great 3 weeks in the house. Brand new, fully equipped with really everything you need to be comfortable with family and cook. Everything is really well thought out. Communication with Nazia was very smooth, well before the departure where we were able to ask her any questions. Isabelle on site was able to clean several times a week. Loved our stay. Everything went very well in Shandil's accommodation. There is a small private beach just below, it is very quiet and pleasant. The accommodation is well located, there is a large and beautiful beach 3m away by car with lots of shops / restaurants. Shandil is very helpful, we recommend this accommodation!

The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

Very nicely decorated place. Easily accessible location with a rental car. Optimally with the shared pool on the property. You can walk (15 minutes) or drive (5 minutes) to the beach and shopping. The equipment is great with the European sockets, super washing machine, great large rooms and the terrace on the 1st floor. The price-performance ratio is appropriate here.

Small apartment very well located (2min walk from the beach) clean and with all what you need for a short stay. The residence is very calm and we also loved the swimming pool. Wendy is nice and available, I recommend

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone! The sea is 2 minutes walking, as is the first restaurants. It was all very clean and as shown in the photos. We didn't miss anything because the host provided us with some information in advance. Very nice and accommodating host!

We had a great stay at Mag & Hervé’s place! It had everything we needed to feel home away from home. The overall property is well worth the value we paid for. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Hervé. He took the time to explain everything to us and was always readily available when we had questions throughout our stay. The property is well located (10 mins from Grand Baie by car and 10 mins from Mont Choisy Beach by walk) and private. We also found great restaurants around. Un immense merci Mag et Hervé. Nous espérons d’être de retour à Maurice très bientôt. Nous n’hésiterons pas à vous solliciter de nouveau à notre retour ◡̈ P. S. A local man on a motorbike sales Dal Puri in the morning. He rides up and down the street and rings a bell. Must try!

Perfect place for an overnight on the north side of Mauritius, less than mile from all the nice spots in Grand Baie. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Only complaint might be that a friendly local rooster started up before 5am. But for a budget stay, this place is spot-on. The thing that is usually sacrificed with ’budget’ accommodations, in my opinion, is the quality of the bed and the shower. The bed here was great. The shower — and this is really important for me — is better than the showers at Airbnbs that I’ve spent twenty times this amount for — ample hot water, flow as good as my shower at home, and a very comfortable showerhead. And if you have a rental car, as I did, the parking is convenient and easy. Yeshan responded within one minute to each text I sent him. For these reasons, I could probably say that this is the best value I’ve ever had for an Airbnb.

Had a wonderful stay at Eileen's place. She was a very responsive host. The beach is across the street and lot of places to eat in the neighbourhood.

Comfortable, clean and spacious apartment central to all restaurants and 5 min from beautiful Mont Choisy beach. Both Lisa and Ludovic very responsive hosts and quick to sort out any queries. I enjoyed my stay!

Stayed at Geoffray's apartment for a full month It was an amazing stay we felt very much at home as soon as we arrived It's just a 5 minute stroll to a lovely beach and easy access to local buses . there's a local min market just up the road or a short bus ride to a very large supermarket for a bigger shop should you need it Geoffray's Mum & Dad were so lovely very helpful and on hand should you need anything We would highly recommend a stay here it really was the best Thanks again for an amazing stay Pete & Greg

We stayed 3 weeks at Devi's apartment and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a wonderful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of their guests as well as being super responsive if there's an issue. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

The accommodation is in a peaceful residence, just a 10 minute walk from the beach. It was sparkling clean. Laurent was particularly welcoming and available, which went a long way in making my stay enjoyable.

it was a fantastic stay of 5 days with family... Jenny and Vincent were very responsive and helpful... the only thing I would mention, being an Indian, we were feeling need of a foster or jet spray in the WC... :-)

The apartment was really clean and very big, with 2 bedrooms, one big livingroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a nice terrace. Rizwaan welcomed us, and he was very helpful and friendly, he explained everything we needed to know about the surroundings. The location was AMAZING, just between Trou aux Biches (5 minutes walk) and Mont Choisy. Both beaches are very beautiful. You can park your car inside the courtyard which is helpful. The Wi-Fi is fast, the kitchen big and fully equipped, and everything was perfect! Rizwaan is a really great host!

We spent about ten days at Béatrice's place. This place is very nice with all the essentials to have a good holiday. The nice little extras: the bedding, the swimming pool, the nearby beach, peaceful residence,... I warmly recommend this place, we had a great holiday.
