Cottage holiday rentals in Grand Bend

Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

Our stay here for our girls weekend was absolutely fantastic. The airbnb itself was cozy and clean, and had everything we needed. But the best thing about this place was the outdoor space! We enjoyed having a fire on both nights we were there and we loved eating our meals on the back deck, going in the hot tub, and playing cornhole in the backyard! The hosts were also very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone!

We went and enjoyed a lovely ladies weekend in Grand Bend. The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. We where able to walk all over town, so the vehicles didn't move once we arrived. We as a group had a wondful time and would definitely recommend this location for a girls weekend getaway or a family vacation!

A beautiful property and steps from a huge and gorgeous beach. The left area was fantastic. Lots of seating and visiting nooks inside and out. Great gardens and a pond! Some side streets to meander around - very friendly area. We loved it top to bottom - will go again ❤️

Cam was unbelievably accommodating and communicative, always responding to my chats and queries within a short period of time. The place was beautiful and exactly as he described. With all the knick knacks, it really made you feel like you were staying in a rustic cottage. The hot tub was an awesome addition, especially since we didn’t have the best weather conditions for our stay. We stayed there for me and my girlfriend’s 4 year anniversary, and I’m so glad we got to stay at Cam’s place. If I could give it 6 stars I would. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend it highly! Bayfield is also so beautiful and theres so many boutiques and cute shops to shop at!

We enjoyed our stay! The home was as described, and we were very comfortable.

We had the most wonderful stay at Priolo on the Trail! It was very comfortable and the surroundings were so peaceful. The outdoor fire pit, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge tub were amazing and enjoyed by all. It was a lovely short walk to a gorgeous beach and we saw the most beautiful sunset. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Andy and Cathy! ❤️

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

what a peaceful location! I would recommend this airbnb to anyone who would like privacy, starry nights and lots of room for outdoor games. the beach is beautiful and private but I would acknowledge that the walk is not safe for anyone with a disability. Tick checks would also be recommended after the walk through the path to the beach. the host was very responsive and helpful. the airbnb was very spacious and had lots of room. we used this airbnb for a bachelorette- we had lots of fun playing outdoor games, hanging on the beach and enjoying a fire.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The beach was a very short walk away. The unit was clean and well maintained. Nice kitchen with full amenities. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful place and a wonderful stay. An issue outside of the host's control came up but they were proactive, kind, and helpful in addressing it.

We had different sets of family members staying with us on this trip, and everyone unanimously agreed this was one of the best AirBnB’s we had ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable, with great linens, and the kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed for large meals. We were surprised not to have a dining table, but the amazingly large kitchen island fit everyone easily. We loved the pool table and fire pit! Also appreciated all the beach chairs and toys. We definitely will be back again!

Jocelyn's place was a wonderful spot to take our family vacation. Our boys absolutely loved the huge beach and all the rocks to explore. A perfect location away from the public beach but close to Grand Bend for dinner. The interior was clean and modern and nicely renovated. It was really nice to stay somewhere where the appliances and kitchen necessities were quality - not just a random assortment of "cottagey" items. A great open concept where someone could be making dinner while the rest of us relaxed on the couch but all in the same space. The views in the kitchen and living room through the sunroom were beautiful - even on our rainy days we could still see the water from the couch. I would book again - and hopefully we'll luck out with more sun next time! Thanks again, Jocelyn!

We had a great time at Anita’s place. It is always so clean and had everything we needed. The kids had a blast playing at the beach, even on colder days, and enjoyed all of beach toys and ample room on the lawn and deck to move and play. Thanks very much for a great stay!

Jane’s place was the perfect getaway for a long weekend to relax and rewind. Jane was very communicative the whole process. I liked that she had a detailed guidebook for everything you could possibly need to know. The home is spacious with plenty of sleeping room for all our guests and our beloved dog. It’s a very quiet area and was lovely sitting outside listening to the birds chirp. The beach is only a short walk from the home and we caught the sunset two nights while we were there. Weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the fire. While we were there we visited the Pinery park which I highly recommend and is only a 20 minute drive if you like trails and hiking. We drove through most of the park making stops along the way. We also visited Ipperwash beach which is a short drive from the home and close to local restaurants and ice cream parlors. We also checked out the herb garden and Cynthia was super helpful!

This was our second stay at the Acorn Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first! Everything was just as clean and comfortable as it was our first time around. We love having our girls weekend here and hope to come back again. Thank you Martha and Steve for being such wonderful hosts!

Rita’s place was great! Clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen! We had no issues, the private beach is lovely, and the cottage is also close to the main strip in grand bend (couple min drive). Would stay again

We had a very nice stay at this cottage - it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend celebrating a bachelorette. The host was great at keeping in touch both before and during our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. They were also very accommodating with multiple requests we had before booking, and provided helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. The personalized welcome board with our names was such a nice touch to start our stay- it really made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing spot! If you are looking to get away from the city and just want to unwind this is the place to go. Very peaceful and the host is excellent. Very unique log cabin. Had a great get away with the boys. Highly recommend!
