Tam’s place was perfect for our large family of 9! Lots of space and entertainment for the kids. The pool was great and had lots of waters toys. The location was also great quiet neighborhood and many near by stores and restaurants. Tam was very attentive and responded quickly for any of our questions. Wonderful stay!

Laura was an extremely thoughtful and welcoming host. There were so many little things in the house to help make your stay more comfortable-breakfast cereal, oatmeal, coffee pods, popcorn, mac n cheese, toothpaste, toothbrushes, laundry pods, and a gift of a bottle of wine. This house has many outdoor seating areas. Front porch has chairs, side porch has chairs, back porch has a gazebo providing shade with chairs and there was even a dining area. It was fun watching the wild turkeys visit each morning. The neighborhood is quiet yet so close to Saugatuck for shopping and dining. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Perfect home for a family vacation, enough room for our entire family gathering. Spacious and homey.

We were out that way for a baseball tournament and this location was less then 4 miles from the fields. Great location as it was also approx 10 minutes to Walmart, Meijer or any shopping we needed. House was adorable and well maintained and clean. Would definitely rent again if we have to come back that way in the future!

We just left mikes place and are already planning when we can go back! We did a girls weekend in south haven and the backyard and pool area were immaculate. It was sunny and 90+ degrees all weekend so we did not leave the pool! It was wonderful, clean, and peaceful. Definitely coming back as soon as we can for another girls weekend!

Gay’s place was wonderful. She is super nice and she gave great recommendations. Her place was great and the bed was very comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying here.

This was a great little place for a last minute get away! I appreciated that we could travel with our dog. It was also nice to have access to the pool across the street. My teenagers enjoyed that. The place was clean and in a great centralized location! The only thing I didn't realize is that the bathroom is attached to the bedroom so if you're traveling with more than two people, they will need to walk through your bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Perfect location and so convenient. Isabel’s market is right I the parking lot which was really great. Christine and James place is so quiet and so many amenities. Close to everything and very comfortable. The outdoor space was really nice. Just a great place!!

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

We lost electricity for two days due to a storm, and Matt was kind enough to refund our money for those days even though, of course, he had no control over that. We’ll be back!

My family and I loved staying here! The pool was perfect and we used it every single day and the space was ideal for us - my 4 year old especially loved the games (first timer playing Sorry) and PAC Man along with the nature / fire pit (and pool of course). It was very close to downtown Saugatuck and the host was super responsive. Our dog was also very relaxed in this location as it was quiet and peaceful and he is getting older. Thanks for the great stay and we can’t wait to come back’

Such a great place to stay as a family! Right next to the pool, lots of helpful things like sand toys and beach chairs. Jason and Claire always responded very quickly and gave us some great local recommendations. Really enjoyed our stay!

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the area I needed, had good walkable areas for me and my dog, and there were lots of good restaurants nearby within walking distance. Tammy was very responsive and helpful. I was able to check in early on the first day when I needed to, and when I messaged her because it was so cold, she immediately had the maintenance come and turn the heat back on. MIchigan weather can be fickle! I would stay here again if I was in the area and needed a place to stay.

Eric was extremely responsive from start to finish. My daughter and I stayed in the mini cabin for a peaceful and private getaway while we were in the area to visit a local zoo. The cabin was elegantly simple, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. We were truly saddened to leave this beautiful and tranquil environment. I look forward to returning in the fall and winter. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. Our stay was a special experience with memories to last us a lifetime. Thank you, Eric, for creating such an amazingly beautiful space for us to stay and explore!

We had a great stay with our two dogs. The house was in pristine condition with a nice fenced in yard and a space to sit outside. In very close proximity to beaches including a dog friendly beach as well as several local dog friendly restaurants. The house is in a quiet residential area but is a five minute drive from anywhere you want to go.

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

Perfect private cabin in the woods. It is far enough from downtown Saugatuck to avoid traffic but close enough that we could easily run back to relieve the dog when needed. About 7 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. There were so many amenities we didn't get to use (ran out of time), but were super nice to see like the fire pit and the sauna. It is super private and very well hidden. Maybe too well hidden. My only gripe regarding our stay was the initial finding of the driveway LOL. It looks more like a trail and it is RIGHT after the guardrail nearby. But hey, you can guarantee no one will stumble upon your private stay. The interior of this studio cabin was gorgeous and super clean. Overall, we ran out of time to explore all of Saugatuck and we will definitely be using this place again the next time we visit.

The house was perfect for us. It was peaceful, relaxing and close to the things we wanted to do. We were close to Grand Haven, Muskegon and Whitehall. We ended up getting ice cream in Fruitport, too. Tom was very hospitable and had bottled water and some other drinks in the refrigerator for us. He also provided coffee. It was a wonderful stay at Tom’s place.

A very charming home! Cozy, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to Spring Lake. The enclosed yard was perfect for our little dog and the laundry was a big plus after beach days. The host clearly put a lot of thought into the space and even shared a detailed local guide. Great stay all around - highly recommend!

The house is really a neat place. Much larger in person with extra nooks, etc. We had more than enough room for two people and a small dog. Cool retro decor, like in a farmhouse. We really loved the back enclosed porch & fenced yard, esp. early evenings as the sun went down. Loki, our little Dandie Dinmont Terrier loved running around in the grass. But there is a nice walkway there and a fire pit, as well [if you want to use it]. The bathroom was very well stocked, as was the kitchen. We were out an about most of the days in Holland & surrounding areas, so we did not cook much. Especially as we found Biggby Coffee in Dorr [11 min]! Must try a breakfast bragel, if you have not. We did not meet Valerie, but I think we met Diane [who I believe was staying upstairs, though we hardly knew she was there]. We got to talking about Loki's competitions in scentwork and she was very nice. Easy checkout also. One last pointer: check out New Salem Country Store. Very nice lady works there.
