Cottage holiday rentals in Grand Island

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Our family really enjoyed Elena’s place. It was cozy, clean and exactly as described. The deck was wonderful and close access to the lake and beach were great features. Elena offered for us to leave later on our last day and this allowed us to really maximize our last day of vacation. Wonderful experience!

Lennie's place is an absolute Jem. The place is fabulous, with breathtaking lake and beach views from almost anywhere in the house. The deck is such an oasis and literally a few steps away from the amazing Wyldewood beach. One of the best beaches I've been in the area, with amazing amenities within the premises. From groceries shop, great selection of food trucks, onsite restaurant, bar, arcade, watrepark, mini golf and a long etc. Lenni keeps the place prestine and super equipped with anything you could possible need to make your stay comfortable. A highlight was the private golf cart. This made our stay not only super convenient but very fun to move around and explore all the great things the premises have to offer. Communication with Lennie was outstanding! She was super quick to reply, always willing to address all my questions and proactively providing guidance on how to move around, and make good use of the house and entire premises. I can't wait to come back!!!

Mandy’s place and Sherkston Shores are amazing! Mandy was so responsive and made everything easy about our stay! The cottage is beautiful, steps from the beach, and has everything you’d ever need! We will be back!

Jeremey was very responsive and a great host! The location was perfect, seconds from the beach. At the end of the campground which was great… nice, quiet when it was time to wind down. Would recommend!

We stayed at one of Lauren's place at Sherkston a few years ago, and it was such a great time that we knew we wanted to come back again. Same great experience, the kids had a blast. I was asking a ton of questions throughout the stay that even I annoyed myself with, but Laura was very prompt, patient and polite each time. Will come back again in the future!

Paul is a great host. Very knowledgeable & helpful. Walked us through house instructions clearly. The cottage is great, ambience is magnificent and everything is just a 5 to 10 mins walk away or even better, charge & take the golf cart! It’s a nice ride to the beach or to the soccer field where most of the evening events occur. Definitely coming back to this place.

What an amazing space! Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Was able to use washer and dryer and loved the hot tub. Perfect location for walking to the beach and shops. Local food was great and affordable. With only a 30 mins from Buffalo NY, will definitely be booking again!🩷

The Crystal Cottage is such an amazing place! Anne Marie and Norm are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to everything and is still very quiet an peaceful. The local people are also fantastic and make guests feel welcome. I highly recommend the Crystal Cottage to other guests and will be back for sure!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property boasts a stunning view and easy access to the water. The living space was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the private rear yard with its wonderful amenities, including a beautiful dock, BBQ, and patio area. It's also conveniently close to grocery stores. Brad and Kim were incredibly responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Very cute and cozy cottage right near the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cottage was very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was great with the beach just a short walk up and across the road. We loved walking up and down the beach and went a few times a day — our golden retriever was in heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to get away from the noise of the city for a few days.

A great couple of days! From the phone call a couple of days, Jeff was proactive to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very well situated - easy walk to restaurants and the beach as well as to access the Friendship Trail for biking. Comfortable beds too. Slept great. Thanks, Jeff!

Amazing stay for 3 months for 5-6 people, spacious and private, quiet, and peaceful. Everyone can find a personal spot. Really enjoyable place even for people with a different mindset. The host's choice of coffee was beautiful.

Very pleasant, albeit brief stay. Charming interior with great sunset views. And a note to all future renters, walk just 500 feet across the street to Avondale Dairy Bar for some of the best ice cream you'll ever eat.

The location of this cottage is great! Despite the fact that it's right by the road, it feels very private. It's also very close to many wineries, shops and restaurants. We didn't have a car and biked every where and it was very convenient. Also it can easily fit 5 couples!

We had a fantastic stay at Shane’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and had so much character, especially the fun and thoughtful touches showing his love for the Bills. We stayed here in February 2025 for a last minute trip and they were very accommodating. When I say last minute, I mean that we had trouble with a different booking and I booked this trip on Thursday night for a stay starting on Friday. No problem at all. They were very responsive and everything was smooth and seamless. The place was ready to go and was a perfect fit for our needs. I will say that I'd like to return during the summer because it looks like a nice area for a beach vacation.

Such a beautiful place to stay at in the perfect location! I want to say it’s more on the peaceful side and it’s just beautiful! Host is awesome! Always responding right away. Even when we got there and I messaged them, I think I got a response within 5 minutes! They truly take pride with their place! Highly recommended and will book again with them!

Joe’s place was excellent. The house was super clean, up to date and provided everything you can think of from linens, bath supplies, kitchen supplies and even takeout containers. Back yard was a great space for our kids to play and have a night fire. Thanks joe for supplying some twigs and some pieces of wood. Beds was great and comfortable. Beach was about 10-15 min walk, which wasn’t bad at all. Thank you for the use of the passes. Joe is a great host. Communicates well and in a timely fashion. Anything you need he will do his best to accommodate you. We would definitely come back again!

Thess was a great host! Her place is beautiful, clean and spacious. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out and be entertained when it rained. With brand new appliances, a large screen TV and all modern amenities, we had all the comforts of home. We would definitely return again next year!

Quaint, spotless, and surprisingly spacious. The property was exactly as described and gave our group of golfers the perfect place to unwind between rounds.
