The Cabin @ Ru-Ridge (The perfect place to relax)

This beautiful Amish built cabin sits high above Jay Cooke State Park and surrounding areas. Stunning views of the park and beyond. Enjoy miles of private trails. We are a working farm so don't be surprised to see livestock in your front yard. No on-grid power or water but there is a solar generator and drinking water is supplied. The solar can run a CPAP and charge cell phones easily. There's an outdoor shower and a very clean outhouse to use. Come relax and enjoy yourselves!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Pet friendly, two bedroom (sleeps 4) and with the additional 3 season gazebo building 6 total, one bath, full kitchen, fenced-in back yard, 25 miles west of Duluth. Enjoy country living with all the amenities of home. Includes fireplace, jetted bath, fire pit, and gas grill. There is a boat landing next to the property. Easy access to fishing, kayaking, swimming, agate or berry picking. Snowmobile and hiking trails are nearby as well!

Our yurt sits on the edge of a wild woods overlooking a clearing that is an active forest restoration project currently in process on the banks of the Cloquet River.
