Lake house holiday rentals in Grand Lake O' the Cherokees

Everyone in our group loved the place and we all had a great time here. Everything was clean, clearly labeled, and had everything that we could imagine for our stay. The parking was limited and Terry called to check in when he heard we were having an issue but was very respectful and helpful to finding a solution. I would recommend this place to everything! I’d love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the lake.

our family really enjoyed this place it was everything that we expected the weather was a little rough but you know the house was beautiful and large enough to entertain everybody inside I would definitely recommend anyone to rent this place and we probably will rent it again

This is a great lake getaway! easy to find location close to everything in grove. great parking and tons of outdoor hang out areas. lounge chairs for sunning or a big screened in porch with comfortable seating. dock is spacious and easy to access. house has a radio (which if you Airbnb often you know is rare) kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials. really great spot to vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this home and the host was very responsive. We arrived late in the evening with short notice and were very happy when we arrived to see snacks on the counter and water bottles in the fridge for us but the best was the view of the lake! The private dock and firepit area are amazing. This home was very clean and well appointed and had great towels…2 bathrooms a plus. The host also provided a list of nearby restaurants which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. You cannot beat this location, the view of the lake, private dock, and outdoor firepit area. Highly recommend!

This was our first trip to Grand Lake, but it won't be our last! While the flooding restricted our lake experiences, this house made our visit a comfortable oasis. My family of 5 slept well in the comfortable beds. All of the furnishings are new and high end. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially enjoyed the craft ice machine and the pool table. We rented the golf cart one day. What a fun way to explore! We hung out at The Anchor (part of Shangri La) and saw lots of wildlife as we explored (foxes, deer, squirrels, hawks, turtles, snakes, donkeys...). We explored some local attractions. Our favorites include Little Blue Park, Natural Falls State Park & Quarterdeck restaurant (with swimming pool!). When we returned to the house, it was always well cooled by the air conditioning. Aimee & Stephen provided us with recommendations that helped fill our days since lake access was limited do to the historic flooding. We also loved the monkey touches found throughout the home.

The place was great. The house is huge and very comfortable and it was equipped with everything. We loved the area and everything about the place. David and Barb were very kind and quick to respond on any questions I had. Definitely recommend this place

This house is so cool, multi leveled and a bit retro! The sitting area was super nice and having dock access was perfect for a short, peaceful girls trip. The neighborhood was full of deer and was nice for a short walk after dinner. There is a public marina/restaurant within a few minutes drive that we went to and enjoyed, as well. Jessica was super responsive and very nice. She even went above and beyond - one of the girls left a few items and Jessica promptly sent them to her and refused reimbursement for her time and shipping. So thoughtful and very, very generous. If we go back to Grand Lake, we'll for sure try to book with her again.

Great place to stay!

We will be staying here again. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Some things that stood out to us: 1) The view is the best we've ever had at Grand, 2) The neighborhood was quiet, 3) Having a storm shelter and use of the garage was a bonus, 4) The hosts have way more accoutrements then any other place we've stayed, 5) Sitting around the firepit in the evening was nice, 6) and the house was comfortable/inviting.

My extended family of 10 had an awesome weekend on the lake! The home was comfortable for all of us with beautiful views from nearly every room. My nephews love to fish and this turned out to be a great spot for catfish. We enjoyed the shady deck and evenings around the fire pit. Page, our host, was quick to respond and friendly.

Very private comfortable place to stay! Great outdoor seating area and grill. Comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything needed to cook for yourself. Dock was a pretty long walk but was nice and access to kayaks was so fun for our weekend stay!

Suzette’s place was beautiful. Right on the water with a dock that we could use and keep the boat at overnight. Keep in mind, there is no room for a boat/trailer in the driveway. I had to park my truck and boat trailer somewhere else but other than that we loved the house. We will gladly stay again as we enjoyed every minute of our stay. She was very responsive and the place was clean with plenty of supplies and snacks for our stay. Thank you!

We took a family of 13 (8 adults, 2 teens, 3 littles) for a three day weekend. There was definitely plenty of room for our group. The game room was a huge hit, the house location close to the water was perfect. And they had everything you could possibly need so do not bother over packing and taking stuff you don’t. Lots of house towels, beach towels, life vests, outdoor activities, board, games, and puzzles, full kitchen. It was a perfect family get away. Our family will definitely be back to enjoy this property again at some point.

This place is amazing! Exactly as pictured and described in listing. We had everything we needed here plus some. By far the best rest we’ve gotten away from home! Very nice shower, awesome living room furniture, and the bed is so comfortable we wrote down the brand. We walked down to the water and had a great time there. The kids loved seeing deer up close and all the fireflies too! No complaints at all!

We absolutely loved staying here. Hot tub was amazing and perfect after riding at the atv park. Cabin was clean. Very private. Would stay again!!!!

As a family we are so happy and Satisfied with this place and time we spend there, excellent neighborhood, quiet and friendly people there. If you stay there you’ll have everything you need around you. Also we’re so lucky with the owner Mr Cody, since the first contact he answer all of our questions and help us with some unexpected situations before the trip. Definitely we are going back pretty soon 👍🤝

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was incredibly clean. So clean my wife actually walked around in socks-an AIRBNB first. Kitchen had everything we needed, also really enjoyed the smoker. The dock is also very nice. Plenty of room for our boat and for the kids to fish. Kids also caught lots of catfish and bass in the area. Only thing I would note, if you are bringing a boat, don’t bring it to the house. Take it to a ramp and drive the boat to the dock. There is a useable ramp 5 mins from the house. The road coming into the house is one lane.

This lake house is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood and house are gorgeous and safe. There is a very nice view of the lake with easy access to the dock. We had two other families stay with us and had so much room to enjoy the house. The ponds around the house were perfect for the kids to fish in. I will absolutely come stay again and again!

my husband and i had a great 3 night stay! the place was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. we loved the hot tub and the beautiful view of the lake. the hosts provided bottled water and snacks which we appreciated. the thermacell was a lifesaver too, because lake life + rain means there are lots of mosquitos. i somehow managed to escape without a single bug bite! we had a few minor issues that didn’t greatly affect our stay or rating. the kayaks were great! one of them has a seat that’s loose but still functional. the water pressure was low, and there was a copper smell that came from all faucets (sinks and shower). overall, we would definitely come back and book here. already thinking of the next trip.

Jonathan’s place was great! I appreciate how detailed the list of amenities were, and how stocked the kitchen was! We had everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean and everything felt so tidy when we arrived. The walk from the house to the dock is only a few yards- which is a rare find! We loved hanging out at the dock with our rafts from home, but the Lily Pad from this Airbnb was the favorite. The neighborhood had some variations on the quality of house, but it was quiet and peaceful our whole trip.

This place was so great for a group of friends and their families to spend at Grand Lake. The kitchen is spacious with tons of counter space and a large table for lots of people to gather. The windows in every room allowed a wonderful view of the lake. Angela not only shared her house with us, she let us know of the incoming storm to make sure we got off the lake and be prepared. It was such a kind gesture to make sure our group stayed safe. I highly recommend staying at this house!

Had an awesome stay there! Kitchen was very well stocked with more than just salt pepper and aluminum foil. You can tell that the owner wants the guest to feel right at home. We certainly did and me and my family would love to come back!

Great place to stay. Only complaint is there is almost no parking especially with a full size truck. We all had to go park in town and only take one vehicle back to the house
