Monthly Rentals in Grange-over-Sands

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It's in great location (a 5 min walk to the main street) and yet feels very peaceful, and is also perfect for exploring the southern Lakes/Cartmel/etc. The house itself is charming - the room configuration worked really well for our family (kids, parents, grandparents and dog) - it has a lovely cosy lounge and a dinner table big enough for meals and games in the evening. The only downside was not being able to use the outside space more, due to the weather, but such is life. Recommended.

Wonderful 5-night stay at Chestnut Cottage after Rob completed the Great Glen Way & West Highland Way in 6 days! @freemanwalking on YouTube 😀 The hot tub was a real treat for soothing sore muscles. Stunning bay views made the cottage the perfect place to relax. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the little extra touches like the soft robes and complimentary tea, coffee, and milk. Just a short, scenic walk along the promenade to the village for supplies. The weather wasn’t the best, but the cosy cottage more than made up for it. Highly recommend! Thank you Gemma

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had everything as described. The local area is so peaceful and quiet, and not too far a drive from everywhere we wanted to visit - there’s so much to explore and we loved the recommendation in the welcome book about Roanhead beach! We will definitely stay again if we visit this part of the lakes in the future 😊

Loved my stay here - quiet quaint place, driveable to the lakes yet plenty to do locally too. The place was cosy and had everything I needed. Marianne was a great host, very responsive and proactive with instructions. Thank you!
