No Cell service or electric. I have a solar and a box fan you can use in loft. Has a Propane cooktop, and heater, solar lights, full size mattress in loft and one person can sleep on sofa . Bring sleeping bags. Cabin is 10 ft X 10ft. Behind locked gate. 4X4 or AWD recommended. Rd is dirt and steep in places. Located 5 miles from entrance to forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to entrance of forest rd 19. Located off of Jordan Run Rd. Has a bucket and degradable bags for bathroom. No pets.

The Hideaway- An Amazing and Serene Mtn Escape

From the moment we walked into the house, we were in love. The house is set in a private, wooded cul-de-sac and easy to find with the directions provided. The inside is open and spacious but still somehow cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of the best quality. The town of Davis is a short drive away with some delicious little places to check out for meals. We also stopped by Blackwater Falls State Park, just a few minutes past the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this gem if you are planning a stay in the area!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this charming apartment in a beautifully maintained resort. Perfect place for a couple, complete with fireplace and large jacuzzi tub. Cameron is an amazing host, super responsive and flexible. He generously offered us to check out later during a snow storm. My husband and I will definitely return to this lovely place!

This is a real gem. What a wonderful trip for us with Black Diamond house. Brian and co hosts were very responsible and thoughtful fantastic hosts. House is super clean, modern, newly renovated, great view and beautiful surroundings, quiet peaceful safe full of decorations and amenities including warm jacuzzi with peaceful heavenly neighbors. Dream came true in New Virginia. Lots of things to do in the nature also. I would definitely come back to Brian’s place.

Dasha and her cabin were wonderful! She was incredibly responsive and even checked in to see that all was well during our stay. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped into her beautiful cabin. She has fully equipped this cabin to insure guests are completely comfortable. Things you don't even expect like salt, pepper, all paper products, plastics and wraps, more dishes, utensils and silverware than you could need and loads of linens and cleaning products! This host is incredibly thoughtful and her space shows that level of detail. We had an amazing time and would absolutely love to visit again! Thank you for everything Dasha and Alex!

Great cabin for our party of 6. Would be kinda small for 8, especially if you plan on eating in. Table seats 6. Kitchen is small, but functional. Had everything you would need, especially the coffee bar! Hot tub was great. We all enjoyed the game room/loft. Bunk room was great for the kids! King mattress was comfy, although very low to the ground. Very clean cabin! Darian was very responsive to all of our questions & even checked in with us in the middle of our trip! Would definitely consider staying here again!

Amber was wonderful. I was in a hurry and did not fully read the listing. So was not expecting a total off grid experience. If I was looking for off grid glamping this is exactly what I would expect and would be a great few day getaway from the hustle and bustle. The view in the morning was spectacular. Wish I could have stayed longer and didn't have to work while I was in the area.
